Sublime stink. Great location and lovely staff. Food good, room ok but blimey it stinks. Not sure if they have drain issues but I do know that I’ve spent a weekend in an opulent sewer. If only our nose could smell what the views here permit the eyes.

The view and the surrounding is really breath-taking and the personnel at the reception is very friendly but that is it about the good things.
We had the "la torre" room as an upgrade. The little tower is nice and definitely something for people who like old buildings like me. But the upper A/C did not help to cool down the room so sleeping with 30 + degree C is not very comfortable.
The breakfast has been the major disappointing especially with all the possibilities of the Italian cuisine. Re-heated croissants and a very limited selection.
The pool is quite nice and the view again breath-taking.
All in all the hotel needs to invest to upgrade to a real luxury hotel - otherwise it will not last too long.

It was a great experience at this hotel, a perfect place to really relax and enjoy the tuscan beauties! It is aprox 15 min to Siena city center and aprox 30-40 km to Montalcino and Montepulciano, which are just great!!! We had dinner one night here, and it was absolutely delicious!!! And the view just perfect! Nice, clean and relaxing!

I chose Castello di Leonina Relais near Asciano because it was centrally located for a driving holiday in Tuscany and I thought it might have good views of the Tuscan countryside. BEST CHOICE EVER! This is a lovely spot. I felt like I was in my own Tuscan villa. Views were easy to come by. They started as we drove up cypress tree-lined road to the castle. We also took time to drive past, to the top of the road (where there are a couple of stone sculptures). These were some of the best Tuscan views. We also enjoyed the views while eating al fresco at the hotel restaurant. The place is charming, quiet and serves a first class continental breakfast.

Perfect location for a quiet, relaxing getaway. For enough away from major cities to be peaceful, but close enough to visit several vineyards and neighboring medieval towns. It's a beautiful setting, situated on those famous rolling hills of Tuscany. The staff was super helpful and friendly. They have gorgeous grounds and a pool. The restaurant is pleasant with good food, though the menu is somewhat limited and pricey. The restaurant attempts to be "fancy" but comes off as a bit confusing. The dishes we ended up selecting were tasty. Our room was nice and spacious, the bed was very firm and the AC didn't work. I would go back. The location was unbeatable.
