One of the most awesome places We have visited in Rajasthan ! Castle Kalwar is like A beautiful vintage castle -haveli which makes you feel so Royal .
Deepak Dwivedi and his team treated us just like kings and queens . We got to relish a wide variety of different cuisines which were delicious!!
Was pleasantly surprised ! They have a Gym , swimming pool and a great spa experience !! We had been gifted this amazing experience which is absolutely unforgettable . A must visit place for a fantastic experience!!

We spent ten nights at Castle Kalwar in October 2016 and every moment of it was amazing. If we needed something, a staff member soon would arrive at our door with the item. If we wanted to take a hike or walk the main street of the village a staff member was assigned to go walk with us as a guide. Every meal was different as well as excellent. All the food we could eat and needless to say we did not lose any weight during our stay here.
The owner, we called the General because of his 40 years in the Indian Army, was at every meal and available at all times for conversation and to answer questions. He is a font of information about area and Indian history and of course, his royal family history. We always enjoyed his visits and his concern for our wellbeing was amazing. In fact, every person who worked or lived at the Castle went out of their way to provide us with a special experience. If we needed something we just asked.
It is a places that has to be experienced personally to believe. It was our first time in India and our trepidation about accommodations was high. Within the first 15 minutes all of that was gone and we felt like part of the Royal Family. We were greeted with marigold necklaces and a bindi applied to our forehead. At upon leaving at 5A the General and three staff were there to confirm we were up and the car had arrived so we would not miss our train.
A quick note about location. We were in the village of Kalwar and did not need to travel to other places. If we were staying here and wanting to spend days in Jaipur it is a bit farther than what one would expect, ~30 minutes.
Just an amazing experience.
