This hotel is a short walk (approx 500m) from Paddington Station straight down London St(?) from the station exit with the entrance on this street as the hotel is on the corner with Sussex Gardens. The room was not large but adequate for our two night stay. The bathroom was tiny especially the shower. The breakfast was a bit minimal in choice but good coffee. Our room was at the back and was a bit noisy with the air-conditioning units
outside(one got used to it as the bed was comfortable. The staff were very obliging and there is free wi-fi..

We booked 10 minutes after arriving at Paddington Station as it was very reasonably priced and we were only staying one night so happy to risk it. Hotel was great, room was tiny as expected but spotlessly clean, own ensuite (spotless) and even though we had a room on the ground floor facing the road it was peaceful. It even came with a full English breakfast which was again far superior than I expected for the amount we paid for the night.

We paid extra for a so-called 'deluxe' room, but it was small and very basic (nothing like the photographs!), with a shower room smaller than you'd get on a ship and several bits of the chrome trim missing. The 'free toiletries' consisted of a gel dispenser in the shower, but no soap - or plug - for the wash basin, and nothing else. Only one towel each, not really large enough to be described as a bath towel. The bedroom lighting was inappropriate, with all three lights operated from one switch.
Although the beds were comfortable, the windows are single-glazed and we didn't sleep at all well, with traffic noise and an unbelievale number of sirens, all night. The basement breakfast was basic, although there was good coffee from a dispensing machine.
The location was good, with plenty of bars and restaurants within a short walk. However, I won't be returning to this establishment.

This hotel is a stone's throw from the Paddington train stations. Like all standard Paddington stations, the rooms are small and so are the wash rooms - which was a prefab set inside the room. An inch larger, and I would have had trouble fitting in the shower area!
The rooms have A/C, (which may paddington hotels don't) and are comfortable, if spend the night is all you want to do.
Breakfast is provided and is one of the saving graces of the place. While the menu is repetitive, it is filling and they have an awesome tea/ coffee/ hot chocolate machine which is what finally made it worth it for me

The only good thing about this hotel is location. I can only think I could have got a better room and service for my money. I appreciate the cost for central London but I have stayed at a lot better for just a bit more money. Room small and the bathroom smelt. No headboard and lack of hangers. Very very basic, didn't stay for breakfast couldn't wait to get out. Often the service compensates for the rooms but the guy on reception was on the phone and didn't even acknowledge us checking out. Poor service and quality of room.
