Great location
Bondieson 20/11/2017 11:36We stayed in a one bedroom apartment. It was well appointed with a nice outlook. The resort was in its final stages of renovations, so the pool was closed and we had to use the one in the adjoining property. This wasn't a problem. Staff were friendly, just a very short walk to the beach and surf club. Plenty of restaurants in the area. Would stay again.
Great Ocean Views
Judy Don 18/10/2017 09:07Have stayed here many times before, off the main road, quiet, close to shops and RSL, Thai restaurant downstairs. Close to the beach and Maroochy Surf Club. Two Bedrooms, with views. Two Bathrooms, with bath and Showers. Good value.
No Excuses For Poor Quality
MrsTLC12on 15/10/2017 10:50Sadly not up to a standard of other reviews 😒 Staff should advise guests that some repairs needed to your unit are required but will be carried out after your stay 😩Staff were pleasant on our arrival we stayed here for a weekend and sadly would rather have stayed somewhere else. As we entered the foyer in tower 1 the smell was really horrific like something had died in there or was a type of chemical? Not really sure but was hard breathing it in .. we were in and out for 3 days and the same smell was present the whole time we were on Level 4 rm 13 .. Will add photos to back up our complaints.
1. Air conditioner stinks ( Complained on checkout and advised they are cleaned every six months )
2. Dirty sock found in the couch along with a little rubbish and food crumbs that didn't belong to us, Couch looks like it has never been cleaned stained and smells. Curtains have massive faded patches like there was water damage from the room above.
3. Dirty Glass on every panel on our Veranda with 2 Broken tiles missing, outside aircon unit was very old and rusted so bad it has stained the dirty tiles on the veranda (Advised again that it is no help to us but after the renovations that have been completed and this coming Tuesday they will be cleaned)
4. Freezer frozen couldn't use it as it was built up with ice.
5. Bathroom exhaust fan not working and full of a build up of dust.
6. Dirty Mould in the Shower but was advised again by staff as it's no help to us but the grout needs to be removed and redone and will be getting fixed.
7. Spa in Tower 1 was yellow looking and dirty so we decided not to sit in it and gave the pool a miss just in case it made us sick.
8. Went to use the dryer and it was full of lint.
9. As these are self contained units some dishes are chipped and cutlery is old and toaster top was dirty and melted and crumbs left in the toaster oven from previous guests.
If I was the owner of this unit I would like to know these issues ... when you are paying to stay somewhere you expect to be comfortable not complaining about poor quality.
Wonderful Winter escape

The start of our holiday
Glenda Mon 07/08/2017 03:11We have never stayed at this resort before, so it was our first there. Before we got there they sent us an email to say that they were doing some renovations. So we were well warned about that. We thank them for letting us know what was going on. The apartment that we had was huge, very old but clean and tidy, although it was hard to keep it clean due to the reno going on. It is very central to everything, including walking tracks, beach, clubs, restaurants, supermarkets and so forth. On the 2nd day of our holiday we experienced a little problem with the fridge, but what really surprised me was that the problem was fixed up with 10 -15 minutes. Couldn't ask for any better service than that. I will say that the cleaner was great when he came and serviced our apartment. The office staff were very friendly and welcoming and apologetic for all the renos going on around us. We did actually enjoy our stay there. We have decided to go back there sometime in the next 12 months or so. Would recommend this place for anyone visiting Cotton Tree. We will be back.
