We picked the Travelodge because of its location and price. When we arrived it looked like a construction zone as there was cyclone fencing adjoining the parking lot. The hotel looked fine from outside but was old, stanky smell and in major need of updating once inside. Our door to the room did not close properly and had I been alone I would have not felt safe enough to stay there. Stained carpets need replacing, paint "patching" was not matching and walls were paper thin. Loud footsteps from room above and crying from room next door. Would never stay at this property again. "Continental breakfast" was a to go bag with a costco granola bar, banana and prepackaged 50 cent apple pie. For the price, it was not worth it. Even if for free, i don't think I'd stay there again.

When I arrived, my room was ready. On my way up to the room I noticed some stains on carpet from the landing all the way up the stairs. I immediately got a whiff of marijuana, but I don't care about that. I noticed some padlocks on some rooms, I guess they offer a long term rental there. The property was nice and quiet. I got in my room and it was what I expected. A nice bathroom with coffee maker, room with a king bed, flat panel television, a desk and a balcony patio. I am a bit of a nitpicker, so I wont bore you with the details. I was able to hang my clothing, bathe and sleep. in this room. I expect that Wyndham will be upgrading this property soon.

This hotel advertises as a PET FRIENDLY HOTEL. When booking a room, we inform the male rep that we had a Service Dog. We were than asked "How much does he weigh?". (Which is an illegal question)...We answered his question and then we were DENIED a room. Obviously the staff has not been properly trained and do not know the laws when it comes to Service Dogs. It appears that that they are misrepresenting themselves as a Pet Friendly...I will be filing a complaint.

During check-in at 11 PM I was signed up for Wyndham rewards without being asked if I wanted to take the time to do that, and despite the fact that I am already a member. When I got to the room it was 100° inside, and took the next 12 hours for the AC to cool it down significantly. There was food from the previous guest on the nightstand. The smoke alarm was beeping every two minutes, the front desk attendant fix this upon request. My expectations for motels are pretty low already but when I had to pay $90 for a room that clearly hadn't been updated in years, I half to be disappointed. Even small things like the fact that there was no toiletries upon request begin to add up at that price. At least the sheets were clean as far as I could tell.

I checked in, dropped my suitcase off and went to babysit my granddaughters. When I got back my room key didn't work. I rang the night bell and the desk clerk got me a new key. After i was back in my room, I discovered the TV wasn't working. I went back and rang the nightbell again. Nothing. After a few minutes, I rang the bell again. Nothing. I waiting a few minutes again. Third time wasn't the charm. I waited for 10 minutes in total. I gave up, went back to my room and watched TV on my phone.
The next morning when I checked out, I mentioned it to the desk clerk (a different one) and he said the night desk clerk must have been busy (at 12:30 A.M., right). Also, have more than one kind of breakfast pastry at the continental breakfast. I already posted this on yelp.
