Hotel is in a convenient area but the service at the front desk is not that great. They are rude and lack customer service. WiFi is only for two hours a day. If the booking was done online through another travel site you have to go through a long process to prove to them that WiFi was included in your booking.
Breakfast disappointment

This hotel has a brilliant location, the rooms are comfortable and the staff helpful and charming.
But the decor of what claims to be a 4 star hotel can only be described as tired. Much like the breakfast provided.
The only hot food is Asian dishes and only 2 of those. Otherwise it is toast or croissants and some rather tired looking ham and cheese.
If it wasn’t for the fact there is some fruit available the offerings would be really dire.
It really needs someone to come and re-assess the breakfast buffet menu for more than just Asian visitors if they really want to aspire to a 4 star hotel.
From the grumblings we heard many people felt the same way.
But that aside you couldn’t be better placed for touring round Melbourne with easy access to trams and trains or to just walk around the city.
Good value. Great spot.

Clean rooms, very comfy beds, friendly staff. adequate breakfast
Good WiFi in this day and age should be inclusive, the 2 hours per day of free very slow WiFi not good enough.
However if this does not bother you I would definitely recommend staying there.
Comfortable and quiet

Nice quiet room. The bathroom was well appointed and the bed was very comfortable. I slept well and had a good breakfast as part of the deal. Staff were very helpful and when checking out offered to store my bag for the day so I could do a bit sight-seeing unencumbered by luggage.
Great location

We caught the Skybus from the airport to Southern Cross Station, then a smaller bus delivered us within 50m of the Hotel. The Hotel is actually located in Equitable Lane between Little Collins & Collins St. The Skybus driver was most helpful, obliging & gave clear instruction of where we needed to walk to get to the Hotel.
Rianne completed over check-in & answered our questions with enthusiasm & competence. Since we had arrived late at night, we chose to have Thai in the Dodee Restaurant located beneath the Hotel. The food was fine & we were one of 3 Caucasians in amongst Asians. This is a good sign when eating Asian food.
Within 50m - 100m walk there is a selection of trams that you can avail yourself of, to explore Melbourne. It was also an easy walk to a selection of breakfast places in Hardware Lane. We had a beautiful breakfast at The Larder.
Prior to check-out we enjoyed a Continental Breakfast as part of our tariff & it was great. Quite a spread of food. Check-out was completed by Naomi who was also most helpful & obliging. In summary, I would stay here again for the following reasons: very central, clean, quiet, comfortable bed, very accessible to public transport in order to get to & from the airport, very helpful Reception Staff.
