Nice quiet spot with fantastic hosts

My partner and I stayed here last week and it was wonderful. Tranquil setting with big rooms and a nice little pool. Steve and Geoff were wonderful hosts. Super nice, very efficient and had great attention to detail. Rooms were always clean, cool and well stocked with great breakfasts. Short walk to the beach makes this place a real winner.
A real treat, would definitely return.
We wanted to stay here forever

The stress of a crapulous year rolled off my shoulders the second my travelling friend Ms Fivestar and I stepped into Cavvanbah Beach House.
We were greeted by our host Geoff - a "big smile, broad shoulders, laid back, nothing too much trouble" sort of bloke who made sure our every need was met right from the outset.
Our compact digs were immaculately furnished with a lounge, small writing table, kitchen alcove (with kettle, toaster, bar fridge) and well appointed bathroom. We had to share the luxurious king size bed adorned with plump pillows of various sizes and crisp white cotton sheets - no issues here as Ms Fivestar's snoring was dimmed by the soothing "shoosh" of the ocean less than 500 metres from our door.
Most of our time was spent lolling about on our private deck, grazing over incredible breakfasts prepared by Geoff and Steven - fruit, local muesli, yoghurt, sourdough, boiled eggs, smoked ham and smoked salmon with cream cheese, fresh orange juice, homemade muffins - accompanied by a steaming hot cuppa (Australian Madura tea) or plunger coffee (local Byron Bay beans).
CBH is an easy stroll along Belongil Beach to Main Beach, or you can walk along the footpath to town. Compared to bonkers Byron Bay, Belongil is a haven.
It was so hard to leave after three days of bliss. Thanks so much Geoff and Steven.
PS: And extra gold star for saving my bottom. I made the booking, always fearful that my accommodation choices will not live up to Ms Fivestar's exacting standards.
Private oasis

This is such a fantastic, private place to stay. We were on a business trip but it felt like a holiday staying at Cavvanbah Beach House. The room was very clean and comfortable with Sheridan Beach towels (as a guide to the quality). Our hosts were the perfect mix of being attentive but unobtrusive. Even though its a little further afield than some accommodation it is an easy level walk into town and being away from the centre makes it very private, quiet and secluded. There is also a track with direct beach access. The highlight for us was the breakfast we were provided with both days. The food was plentiful and so tasty - gourmet yoghurts, smoked ham and smoked salmon along with so much fresh fruit and muffins. There was so much quality food it would have cost a fortune in a local cafe and really made our stay special. We really hope to return!
Fabulous

Two couples, two rooms - and they were superb. Great location within walking distance of Byron Bay township (traffic a nightmare in town) and the hosts were really friendly and accommodating. Nothing is too much trouble for them. Breakfast was really scrummy - the fresh fruit super tasty. On our departure Geoff gave us freshly baked muffins - home made - and both my sister and I swear they are the best muffins we have ever tasted. Thoroughly recommend this place to stay at. You won't be disappointed.

We’ve stayed for one night in the Cavvanbah Beach House. It was the right decision to go there. The host is very friendly and uncomplicated. He gave us a lot of restaurant tips where to eat in the city. The breakfast was served the evening before – toast, butter, jam and a yoghurt. Not very special but we didn’t expect more.
The room was clean with modern furniture and a very comfortable bed. The bathroom facilities were good. They have also a small pool.
We can truly recommend this place for a quick hide away.
