Cedar Key is a quaint little town with good fishing, great water views, and a lot of friendly folks. You wont find big crowds and long lines, unless you’re here during festivals of course.
While here, be sure and rent, or bring, a golf cart so you can experience all the beautiful views up close and personal. Rent a kayak and watch the dolphins swim by you.
At night you can walk down to Dock Street and enjoy a nice variety of restaurants. However, don’t expect a lot of late night life! It’s pretty kicked back and sometimes the WiFi is slow. But who cares if you’re here to relax!
The hotel is in the perfect location . Close to everything you need. We stayed in loft 315 and it was nice. Hotel staff is very friendly and helpful.

We spent 3 days at the hotel in room 317. The room was clean but aged and tired. The hotel also did could not get the internet service to work which greatly hampered our enjoyment of the time spent on Cedar Key. This place is really not organized and I would not recommend anyone staying at this facility.
Great visit!

This hotel is in a great location. It's within walking distance to everything you need or want to see. The pool is a bonus and it's also next door to a community beach and playground. We stayed in room #315. Decorated in a tropical theme, it was fun and well equipped. Great trip!

We were happy to be able to find lodging for our spur-of-the -moment Father's Day weekend trip and we're very happy that we stayed at Cedar Cove. The owners and staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. We preferred to have a waterfront room, there was not one available our first night but the owners very graciously helped us move to a waterfront room on our 2nd night. Both units were very clean, spacious and well-stocked. The amenities include a full kitchens (one unit had an oven but the other did not), a nice swimming pool that was never crowded even though all units were rented, a beach, a playground and walking distance to all restaurants and businesses. We (my husband and 14 yr old daughter) had a great time and are looking forward to returning to Cedar Key. We would highly recommend staying at Cedar Cove on your visit to Cedar Key,

I enjoyed my stay - the owners were welcoming and very accommodating. The suites differ, so choose one with that in mind. The first room I was shown on the 2nd floor (water front building) was a bit shabby, but next 2 were quite pleasant. The suite was well equipped and quite comfortable. Unfortunately, it was not in the waterfront building, and although it offered water views, the sewage smell from the lagoon in front kept me from enjoying the balcony. Superb location, and they terrific suggestions re: where to go and what to see. I'd definitely consider staying again, but top floor in the waterfront building.
