幽靜的溫泉飯店
pohsinluon 04/04/2017 12:01竹美山閣位於苗栗泰安溫泉區較外圍的半山腰，整體環境十分的幽靜，帶著兩個小朋友（小學生）入住雙人套房，一張大雙人床躺三個人也不會覺得過於擁擠，房間內就有一個蠻大的泡湯池，直接在房間裡泡湯十分方便，早餐部分是中西式的自助早餐，菜色還算多樣，口味也不錯，雖然設施不算是很豪華但算是CP值不錯的飯店。
Cedarwood Villa is located at a quiet area in Taian, Miaoli. The room is very comfortable and hot spring tub is inside the room. It's very convenient. Although, it isn't the most luxury hotel in that area but its Cost-Value is quite high.
A bit too pricy for the room
Alicia Lon 06/02/2017 15:08The room was not worth the price we paid. The spaces of hot bath and shower room were good. However, soundproof was horrible. Towels smelled stinky. So many cracks on the ceilings. Heater was not available and couldn't even adjust air conditioner temperatures. Food was pretty expensive and was not good.
The only thing that I was satisfied probably was staffs' attitudes.
Excellent Service, Fabulous Hotbaths
gaju_13on 18/02/2015 20:25I had to stay in this region for business in January, 2015. The first night I was at Cedarwood Villa the food for me was a challenge as it was local and different for my palette. Of course travelling you adjust and I said nothing to the management. However the chef and waiters had noticed and the following night I was asked what type of Chinese cuisine I preferred and what type of flavours, I let the Manager know, Mr Remy, and a spectacular meal was set for me. The region also has strawberries which I was given as a gift by Mr. Remy as well. I had time to hike one afternoon in the mountains and lush forest is within walking distance. The natural hotspring water is piped into the hotel bathrooms so wonderful to have had this. Out of the way for most business people and those travelling in Taiwan but oh so worth it.
Preferably Suitable for young couples ( review on superior double room)

location: up on top the mountain ( nice view and quiet)
Hotel pretty modern looking
Quality of room ( based on superior double room) : clean but furniture looks quite well used .
Toilet facilities : nice view ( looking out to the mountaineous area while soaking in the tub) and good size hot spring tub in the room.
Has a balcony ( accompany with a table and chairs)
Breakfast : quite nice. Provide seafood porridge and braised pig trotters rice too
Public hot spring is complimentary for guest
Negative part :
not suitable for guest with mobility( movement) issue because the hot spring tub is not leveled with the room floor thus u need to step up to access to it .
To access to toilet bowl u need to walk pass the tub before getting to it . So u need to step up and step down to reach another section of the toilet to do our business .
Additional tips : try to get room with odd nos I.e 307 because the view is facing mountain. Rooms with even no. faced the back of the hotel.
Good breakfast, nice location, poor service...
Jessica Won 30/01/2014 06:38This was a family trip for 3, we had booked a japanese suite for 2 and plus 1 (NTD. 880), but when we checked in we found that the Resort didn't prepare enough stuffs... besides everything was ok, view is great, hot spring is awesome, especially the breakfast... fantastic!
