We appreciated the lifts, smoking balcony, parking, the pretty views of Brisbane, free laundry on each floor and the free continental breakfasts. However, I wouldn't recommend staying in their smaller apartments for more than 5 days. The bathroom is very small, the "double" bed is two single beds pushed together (very uncomfortable). It can be hard to get into as it's up on a busy hill. They provide a kettle but no light in the tea making area of your room. A small microwave and a dish cloth would've been nice as they told us they don't service our room. All our dish washing was done in the small bathroom sink.
Their restaurant is only open for breakfast (no other meals) and is also only open during the week.
Staff weren't overly friendly. And during the night there was a lot of noise as it is located very close to two big hospitals (both had helipads) so there are helicopters flying over and landing near the rooms, loud, and sad.
However, there is a gym, sauna, spa and pool.
I honestly believe this place is way over priced and wouldn't recommend it for stays longer than 5 days.

Stayed here for a business trip and although not right in Southbank it's only a short 10 minute walk from the main entertainment area and much better rates than the big places on the main street. It's clean, relatively modern and with large rooms, great for one or a few nights. Free wifi is a bonus, and a complimentary continental breakfast in the restaurant downstairs. The restaurant wasn't open the night I was there, so it was a short walk down the hill and around the corner for dinner.

Only a minutes walk to the Mater private hospital and maybe 10 minutes to South Bank. The studio rooms are compact and dated however the price for location is very good. Very helpful staff, off street secure parking and all the amenities you will need for an extended stay. Have stayed here a number of times and quality and service is consistent.

Positives: Very close the mater & lady cliento hospitals - can walk to both very easily & quickly.
Car parking is excellent with the option of underground parking or street level (don't forget to display the parking pass in your car at all times as staff check cars daily).
Breakfast is extremely basic but the apartments have a full sized kitchen to prepare your own meals (all though the utensils weren't overly clean!)
View of the Brisbane river was fantastic.
Washing machine & clothes dryer in room.
Negatives:
The rooms are very dated.
Air conditioning is either on or off so the rooms get very very cold.
Not friendly staff.
Would not walk to Southbank at night.

I quite liked this apartment, there were many positives worth mentioning with only a couple of negatives.
Positives: nice pool, spa & Sauna. The room was very clean and modern. Parking was easy and free.
Negatives: the gym was small, restaurant closed on weekends with no buffet breakfast only continental.
Overall I found this apartment good value for money and I would reccomend it to people.
