Best staff Ever!
judecarvalhoon 31/08/2017 22:46We had an amazing time with our 8 and 6 year olds. The Val di fiemme is an amazing paradise for families, every mountain has playgrounds, treasure hunts and loads of activities for kids and parents too. We went during the summer and you pay a tourism tax to the hotel based on how many day you'll stay and you get a card that gives you free rides on cable cars and lots of discounts on most touristic attractions. The hotel itself is very well cared for and the staff all over is just so nice, welcoming, helpful and very accommodating. We had half board so we ha breakfast and dinner every day at the hotels restaurant: it was always very good. Breakfast was phenomenal! The restaurant staff was amazing. There's was a mini club for kids of all ages, my kids were not interested but the young animators were all very lovely and you could see they put their hearts in their work. The pool area could be nicer - they could update that a bit and maybe add an outside pool too! The room we stayed was like a small apartment with two small bedrooms and a kitchen/living room space and a balcony - it was great big enough to stay comfortably in and even cook if you'd like too. They could also update the rooms a bit but I can't complain about anything - seriously this is the only family hotel type of thing I'd go back to!
Parking is a Massive problem and pool is disgusting
corisande1on 27/08/2016 15:57We booked this resort for the Dolomites element of our Italian road trip holiday because it is a resort which offered kids club, entertainment a pool and parking. We thought it would be a perfect retreat with plenty to do during the day both on resort and in the local area.
I cannot fault the local area - it is well situated (if you have a car) for much of what the Dolomites have to offer. We loved the use of the Trentino guest card and took full advantage of the local cable cars - the kids favourite was the Alpine Coaster at Gardone and we loved the cafe and shop at the top of Cermis.
The resort itself however, was a huge disappointment - parking was a nightmare - there simply isn't enough. if we weren't back on site by 6pm we had to park in the streets some distance away from the residence, on one occasion we had to park 10-15 minutes walk away and only found that after 10 minutes of driving round and round. This made going out for dinner a bot of a problem because we knew we'd have a parking problem on our return. Because of this we cooked i the apartment for a few nights which was another problem because the cooking facilities in the apartment were limited to stove top or microwave - not even a small oven to warm bread or a toaster for the mornings.
The pool was disgusting. my eldest daughter (16) refused to go in again after the first day because the water was not clean - there were used plasters and hair balls in the water and she was disgusted by it. This was a huge disappointment because the pool was 50% of the reason I booked this hotel. there are MUCH nicer hotels available without pools for a similar price. The pool was so bad that we did only use it once and I took the kids to the public pool in Cavalese instead.
All in all it was not the restful haven we wanted. We spent our whole time out all day because of the pool being so poor, struggling to cook indoors in the evenings because of parking and trying to entertain two children without wi-fi or swimming pool.
The beds are hard and there is no air-conditioning either.
best staff ever
Alex Hon 24/02/2016 21:49we were a group of 43 and we arrived very late, we found Juliana (the hotel manager) waiting for us to hand us our keys. We didn't have any food with our booking but Juliana again managed to get us a very good deal for the breakfast and dinner. Kindly as well they made a birthday cake for my daughter. this is one of the best hotels i have ever been, highly recommended, will definitely go again next year
staff and facilities are perfect

Average hotel in the nice place
FraFrolikon 10/01/2016 14:41Nice place, the hotel is little dated. We had a small attic room, the bed was not much comfort, but in general like the other three star hotels in Italy. Breakfast nothing extraordinary, but bacon, cheese plate, scrambled eggs, muesli, yoghurt and so on. The staff was very friendly, both at the reception desk and in the restaurant. WiFi free in the room. 17km to Predazzo or Alpe di Pampeago for skiing. Swimming pool was poor, but the turkish bath and the sauna OK. Bathroab in the room. We bought it as an offer for very convenient price, so the rate price/value was very good.
