We didn't check out the amenities much, since we were just crashing during a road trip. But the room was awesome. A living room was separated from the bedroom by French doors (I think) so we could hang out a bit while our baby slept. The bed was not very comfortable, so I had to take away a star for that though.

This hotel and the grounds are just beautiful ! But....I was extremely disappointed with the Sunday brunch. I think the price of this brunch is outrageous, especially since there are only a very limited choice of "hot dishes", eg. about 3 or 4 choices of the prep of your eggs and about 4 choices of pasta. Of course, it took about 20 min. in a very small line up to get an egg, due to the fact that there was only one person preparing the eggs to order. The "cold dishes" and salads were plentiful, and kind of a decent dessert section. Although you are entitled to an ordered "hot dish", which, once ordered, took a long time to be served, I prefer more hot choices in the buffet. No one even asked if we wanted coffee, and I actually had to finally ask for some at the end of my meal, after having gotten up to get dessert ! We were offered a small sized Mimosa when we arrived, but I must say, I was quite shocked when I received my bill and saw that the price of the Mimosa was $12.00 ! I find that expensive for a small shot of sparkling wine and a small glass of orange juice. After receiving the bill, which was $74.68, before tip, it took so long for someone to come to the table for us to pay, and in actuality, we had to get up and walk around to find our server in order to pay and leave. I have enjoyed wonderful brunches in many different places, namely Auberge des Gallant, Mon Village, and Place Willow, and I have to say, they were by far much better with more varieties of fresh and hot foods, and when that is the case, you do not mind paying what they ask, which I remember as being less than this brunch at Chateau Vaudreuil . This was my first and last time having Sun. brunch here. All in all, the service was just okay and the food was just okay, definitely NOT worth what they are charging. I am very disappointed, indeed.

We really enjoyed our stay here. Our room was beautiful and bed was very comfortable. We jad asked for lake view but it was a bit obscured. We ate on site in the lounge. They were understaffed...bartender was also the only one waiting tables and they were busier than expected. While crazy busy our waitress did an amazing job. The wait was longer than anticipated for the food but was worth the wait. The only odd thing about our stay was when we asked for an extra coffee for our room they were going to charge us $2 and we were one short in our room yet they offer free coffee in the morning.
If you are planning to sight see in Montreal I would recommend something closer as it's 45 minutes away and no public transport.

Beautiful surroundings about 20 minutes from downtown Montreal. There are lots of amenities in the vicinity as well as an excellent restaurant and gym and indoor pool.
Our room was not ready when we arrived - it was our fault as we thought check in was 3pm and not 4pm. The hotel was quick to upgrade our reservation to a lakeview suite that was available. Would definitely return.

Well appointed rooms, comfortable bed, tasty food, lovely grounds. Truly a little paradise tucked away from all the hustle and bustle of Montreal. In addition, the meeting rooms (in another building) had everything we needed for our event.
