Me and my partner spent 3 nights at this hotel, it was a very cosy little room which we thought was fine for a few nights!!
But...
The bed was very hard and the walls need a lick of paint. It does seem run down in places but so does a lot of Rome which we found out on our travels.
Breakfast was a little confusing and there isn’t much of a range of food! If you like croissants your in the right place!
The location really isn’t great!! The streets seem very dirty surrounding this place and not overly safe after dark! (Obviously not the hotels fault)
We were happy with our stay the place just needs a little revamp to get it up to what I would say a 4 star hotel would be!
Also could do with updated tv services in the rooms as we don’t speak Italian so some English tv would have been good.

Me and my partner booked this hotel as it says that it's an 4* hotel..well after already booking I decided rob read the reviews which I shouldn't have dun b4 hand as all the reviews seem to be terrible..I tried to ignore it and i travel a lot and have read bad review s before and then have shown Upney and it morn new what the reviews have said..well this one the reviews wasn't spot on it's not but a 4* hotel a time all I wouldn't even call it a 2*..at first when u or at work walk in it fools you because it looks nice ..then u go to the loft where which looks old n as if it's gonna break down..the next u get to your room and it isn't so bad u wouldn't even rate this a 1* it's all old the walls at dirty the bed sheets have rips in them..the tv I said an old tv it's just rediculas we went down to receptions to ask if we can go in the bar to the next be to told the bar don't not open so basicaly it looks like a bar but it's just There for show..it all so bad I highly recommend not other booking this hotel if ur expectin anything higher than a 2*

We stay at hotel champagne palace in June for a week which was 5 days to long as far as I'm concerned, once we arrived at the hotel after a near death taxi ride we were told that we had to pay the hotel a tax of €80 we had no knowledge of this beforehand and were told it was a city tax?????
So once we got to our room which was so small that we spent the whole week crawling across the bed to get the other side of the room, we decided to go for a wander around only to be followed back to our hotel by some grotty looking man.
That night I think we got about 3 hours sleep as their was people running up and down the stairs all night shouting and slamming doors this continued all week. The breakfast was poor a couple of dried croissants and cereal severed by a grumpy man. In the evening we were told the bar on the top floor was closed no reason given reception staff just said " not open"
So I would definitely not recommend anyone going to this hotel.

Spent a great time in this lovely hotel strategically located nearby all transport connections. Breakfast was excellent and the view from top floor awesome. Room was quiet and perfectly clean. Most of all we appreciated the very friendly staff, always at your disposal for any questions and requirement. We highly recommend this hotel

Location was very convenient ..close to great restaurants and bus terminal
Very quiet considering location in Central Rome
aC not ever strong ..needed card to keep it going
Breakfast was adequate not great
No ice available in super hot days ..was told to buy it in bar across street
Joaquin was helpful but not other old man at desk
Elevator is rickety rackety ..I got stuck in it ...very claustrophobic
Beds are tiny for my tall son
Room was tiny as was bathroom
Internet only in living room near lobby ...weak at best
Location was great for nice restaurants in are and shopping for that hotel was fine
