Very handy for Yoho

There were five of us in a chalet. All in all it proved to be a good choice - it is very well placed for visiting Yoho National Park and the chalets are nicely equipped. One slightly odd feature is that the soaker tub upstairs in the loft is genuinely plonked right there next to the loft beds - no screen or curtain, so privacy, making it not very useful unless you know each other very well! Also, be aware that the windows high up in the gable of the A-frame don't have curtains so if you're light-sensitive that might interfere with your sleep. Air conditioning would have been nice during this hot summer, but we appreciate it probably isn't really needed 95% of the time in BC.
Nice cabin

Really nice cabin for a family of five. The kids loved having the upstairs room for themselves and so did we. Grass lawn outside served well for playing. Really complete kitchen with everything you need to cook real dinner (not just a simple breakfast like some so called "fully equiped" kitchens do). I liked the rustic style with thick logs, combined with a comfortable interior and nice outside dining facility.
Close to really nice hiking trails in Yoho and not too far for visiting western parts of Banff (like Lake Louise) either.
Two things that had a negative impact was the lack of cleaning which combined with all the dust in the entire area made the cabin feel rather dirty. Also a nearby geavel pit (or some kind of open pit mine?) made a lot of noise almost 24/7.
no place id rather stay

We spent 10 days in the Canadian Rockies visiting Banff,Lake Louise, Jasper and the Icefield Parkway. We stayed in the quiet area west of beautiful Yoho National Park and at no time did i see a place that i would have rather stayed.Beautiful log cabin on beautiful grounds located on the KIcking Horse River.A bit of a drive to get to sight seeing locations, but worth it at end of day for solitude and peacefulness.Lots of room with my daughters staying in upstairs loft,we just absolutely loved the place.
Mixed feelings

Went for a xc ski weekend in lake o'hare and pipestone lake louise celebrating daughters 29th birthday. We enjoyed the off beat location well outside of Golden not far off the transcanada highway. Lots of snow falling and lots already piled up, the site of the chalets is in an open field units staggered for privacy. Forest surrounds the site w a creek near by. The units had a comfortable from deck w barbecue and table and chairs, the interior had a feature wooden stair to the open loft and a field stone fireplace. The finishes and appliances were budget conscience. The kitchen is needed as nearest restaurant is a jaunt better to eat at least breakfast in and bring snacks.
Its a lonely place that brings quiet and serenity in a small resort setting. Luggage is transported by your initiatives and hand pulled wagons. We have only one issue with the stay and that was an extra charge for cleaning, Our daughter arrived for a visit saturday night with her pet dog, she was seated by the onsite manager who was upset at the sight of her pup indicating that the dog was over 32 lbs, the dog is actually around 40 so he must know his dogs maybe worked in a carnival at one time guessing weights. This was the last we heard of this till we saw an extra bill for 100 for cleaning. It was quite a surprise, attempts to contact these people resulted in telephone tag with an unknown number. We disputed the claim, as we are a high end luxury home builder and know what clean is supposed to represent. The back and forth messaging left an our way or the highway demeanour with no chance to discuss. We have since received a message saying they were going to reverse the charges but nothing has transpired yet. The whole dispute appears nothing more than a cash grab. I will update this review if we do receive the refund. The wifi is best received somewhere on site sanding on the roof of your car, not a strong suit.
Very nice and comfortable chalets

Excellent chalets log houses. Location is wonderful with mountain views and river pretty close. Very comfortable and clean. Ideal to rest and disconnect from all. Driving to Lake Louise or Golden is a pleasure: winter sports, beautiful scenery and watch wild life (pack of wolves!)
