RRoberts6on 23/07/2017 04:55My wife and I went for a short birthday trip. Southwest Airlines recently started flying from Ft Lauderdale to Belize City so we decided to visit.
I chose what seemed to be the best B& B in San Pedro. By US standards it was subpar. The room was tiny, there was only a shower, there was no view, and the place was worn out and dated. That being said, the price was decent, the A/C was good, staff was helpful, the bed was acceptable, there was WiFi, the breakfast was good, and the place was a short walk (10-15 minutes) from downtown.
My wife wanted TV as well. I prefer a place to sleep and keep my things while enjoying the area and my wife likes finer accommodations.
Considering the location I think the place is pretty good.
We'd probably pay more and go with a resort if we returned.

larikevon 27/06/2017 04:11My daughter and I stayed at Changes in Latitude for a brief fun vacation. Anna and Laura were extremely helpful and gracious. They arranged our golf cart (a must have for the island), our trip to the Mayan ruins, our snorkeling trip, and told us about the best beach on the island; Secret Beach. Anna fixed us breakfast and it was so good and filling everyday. Make sure to try the mango jelly on your pancakes, it is excellent.
Yes, our room was small and the whole B&B is quaint, but for the price and the location, we were very happy with our stay. The room was very clean, the towels soft, and the courtyard very pretty with lots of plants and flowers.
We were in room 1, so we really didn't hear the street noise others have mentioned, but I would guess if you were in the room next to the road, you would probably hear traffic and music.
They have beach towels and mats to borrow, and they also had an umbrella they let us use (we were there during the rainy season). We did not use the bikes since we had a golf cart, but they did offer them to us. The B&B is a few blocks from a regular grocery store, but a liquor store is right across the street. We liked the location because it was near everything, but far enough away to be out of the busiest part of town.
I would recommend to stay at here, you won't find a more helpful or friendlier group of people!

Jeremy Uon 13/03/2017 21:44We spent 8 day's in early January 2017 in this B&B for our time on San Pedro. Anna and Laura were great help, made great breakfasts, and helped save us $ on golf cart rental. The location was really nice. It's a 10 minute walk from town center and just 20 yards off the beach so it was easy to bring our kayak to. The rooms are small! It's good spot for a couple that doesn't mind being cozy or likes to spend most of the time out side exploring which we did. Wifi was fine too.

shertel42on 14/02/2017 05:10We booked two rooms here back in January and the staff was so helpful with getting everything sorted for us and even scheduled our flight out to the San Pedro from the international aiport. We had to leave unexpectedly early due to business and my wife ended up staying since everything was already paid for.. they took great care of her the whole time she was there! The rooms are not very big but the location is great and very close to all the action!
