A lovely place to stay . Extremely hospitable and lovely to be in a small boutique hotel where you can talk to both guests and staff to pass the time of day . Ambiance was lovely and it was so nice to be able to self serve tea and coffee . Also slight bites were offered to all guests in the evening with a complimentary glass of wine . Rooms were spacious , well maintained , well equipped and very quiet . Breakfast was again a pleasure . Staff were very informative and helpful . Parking was free at the hotel and so was on street parking . Beach 3 minutes walk and to Santa Monica pier approximately 45 minutes depending on your pace . Yes would re-book and thank you

Great location at the secluded end of Santa Monica. Cozy rooms with super comfortable beds. Wonderful breakfast. Friendly and warm staff. We went back we loved it so much. If you like cozy atmosphere, this is for you

What a delightful surprise to find a place so homey, so well-appointed, so generous with amenities,and so quiet ... right on the edge of Santa Monica and just a block from the beach. We felt as if we'd found a secret hideaway, but we're happy to share our secret. The extras included here -- full breakfast, free parking, wine -- make this a superb value, especially in pricey L.A. Can't wait to come back.

We have stayed here before and couldn’t wait to return. It didn’t disappoint- still has that lovely warm homely vibe. Very helpful staff. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting Santa Monica. Very close to the beach - and a highlight for us was being able to use the push bikes provided to cycle along to venice beach

We checked in late and the night check in was easy and quick. We had a cozy room in the back (Garden room). Some probably would not like feeling like they were stuffed in the alley back room but we were tired and it was cute. The beds were comfortable and tastefully decorated. We had a great nights sleep and woke up to a very yummy breakfast. The egg soufflé was really good! They had an assortment of fruit and cereals. Also toast and coffee/tea.
All staff were polite and helpful. We checked out bikes and rode to Venice beach in the morning.
Very nice overnight stay!
