if you need to travel to Cartagena, the only place you should stay is the Santa Teresa, this hotel has nearly everything you want in a hotel: great location, beautiful building with a great pool on its roof, the rooms are very comfortable, impeccable service and a great (Harry Sasson) restaurant in the first floor, if the hotel lacks in something is a good restaurant by the pool and a better spa.
this is a better choice then any other other in the old city

The perfect hotel for our first visit to Cartagena. Our room featured a contemporary decor , comfort and bathroom.
Excellent breakfast buffet included in the Charleston interior patio.
Love walking in the streets surrounding the hotel. Great selection of stores ( Check Sylvia’s Tcherassi fashion designs directly across the plaza in front of the hotel) and restaurants.
Will be back !

Cartagena was something more than great and Hotel Santa Teresa was perfect not only its location but its service. We were invited to our friend's Julian party which took place in the hotel. The hotel, the surrounding old fortress, the old town, the tropical climate and the people were all part of an experience we will never forget.

This is a great hotel for the area. Tough to find and book a hotel here from afar, but this one is nice, clean, comfortable and safe. Good location as well, easy walk to restaurants. The hotel restaurant is very good.

“Filoxenia” is a proud Greek tradition of hospitality which means 'the love for strangers' and it refers to a generosity of spirit and a joyful kind of sharing. That was our experience from the six nights we shared with the staff of the hotel. They treated us as guest of their "home" and they tried to give us the best memories of our visit to Cartagena. Our room was at the "colonial area', was big with high ceiling and always was clean and tidy. The breakfast was very good and after our daily tour visits to the city we had the opportunite to relax at the pool which offers a nice view of the old and new part of the city. The Hotel has a colonial and republican style with good taste of details and is located within the walled city. I would like to thank all the team of the Hotel and personal I would like to thank Fredy and Ruben.
