The trout farm is a great place for family of all ages. It is good for fishing but so much more. You can take a nice (not too long) hike and bring a picnic lunch. Climb on rocks and have a great time. Thoroughly enjoy our trips to the trout farm.

Enjoy relaxing, fishing, or biking at Hidden Lakes. Several small ponds fed by the Dupage River provide an interesting area in Bolingbrook. A bridge across the Dupage River allows bike access to the trails North of the river and Whalon Lake.

This place is a little off the beaten path, but still very accessible. It has paved hiking and biking paths, port-a-pottties, and a bait shop. There is a fee for fishing, but not to enter. There is lots of parking. Also, there is at least one geocaching site. Stop by, relax, and enjoy nature.

I rarely stop, but the fact that a path connects to this place from every direction means I skate through every couple days. Nice place to fish, stroll, skate, bike or take a walk.

I go there to fish the ponds (pay to fish with an annual ticket) and they do stock the ponds. However all other situations are free like picnic sites, nature walks, instructions and meetings, bike paths and etc. It is part of the Bolingbrook Park district and well kept up.
