Chateau Avalon is a pleasant respite from the typical hotels we stay in. All of the rooms are themed and have large whirlpool tubs and comfortable beds. It's close proximity to The Legends shopping center, Hollywood Casino, Sporting and T-Bones sports parks and the Raceway make it the perfect location for a quick getaway or a more lengthy stay. The shuttle they provide will carry you to all of these places and pick you up, just as long as it is before 10:00 pm. After that, call an Uber. We will be back!

This was our third visit. It had been several years since we have been and we were somewhat disappointed this time. We had a room with some of the lights burnt out so we were unable to dim lights. The jets in the Jacuzzi needed to be cleaned. The front desk neglected to tell us about wifi or about Happy Hour in the lounge. We missed both. There was no literature in room either about amenities. We had no headboard on our bed and it was pressed against the wall right under the window so our heads rested against the window ledge when you sat up. We also remembered getting breakfast included with our room on our other two previous times. This time only coffee and tea were complimentary. We reserved the room with the November special for our military heroes. We appreciated the discount but were disappointed with our room.

We were pleasantly surprised by Pat who runs the wine bar. He told us about his made from scratch Hawaiian BBQ pizza and we weren’t disappointed.
Pat is from New York but his passion for food and customer service is infectious. Not only did he deliver the pizza to us with a broad smile but he then brought us some chicken salad which was his own creation. It was delicious.
Pat says he loves what he does and doing whatever it takes to please his guests and it shows. I think this is one of those rare employees who truly goes the extra mile to ensure a great guest experience.

We stayed in the castaway room for our Anniversary. THe room was perfect.
We started off in the De Nile bar to have a few drinks and that’s when we met Pat the bar tender. He was super nice and made Great drinks. He had a great sense of humor. Spending time in the bar really made our night! Now that we found out the Bar is open to the public we will definitely be back to visit soon.

When you first lay eyes on this boutique hotel it looks like a giant mansion nestled off into the woods by itself. Plenty of privacy. No road noise.
We stayed for our romantic anniversary. Chose the log cabin room as it was winter-ish time. Our room had a "hottub" big enough for two. A mini electric fireplace that added a nice feel of cozyness. The view was decent, looking out atop to the trees behind the property. It was Denver mountains feel without the cost or travel time!
Breakfast to the room was great tasting. There is a bar room for when you want drinks. Service was fine.
The grounds of this place is nice. A patio out back that is lit up at night with string lights, as well as a fire pit and patio heaters to keep u warm. A romantic bench or two here and there can also be found on the grounds, as well as a swing. A beautiful fountain in the driveway sets it all off. Grab a drink and walk the grounds hand in hand.
What to do around here? The Legends Outlets is down the road. Fun for all tastes and ages. A casino is also close by. Cabellas. Great Wolf Lodge. Kansas speedway and a ballpark. Plenty of fun for the weekend or even an extended stay.
Highly recommend choosing a themed room online of your liking and staying for a romantic fun filled weekend get away!
A bonus surprise was the staff had most all the different rooms available to view almost like an open house. Of course we compared ours to the other options and ended up still liking the one we chose over the rest. To each their own though!
