An enchanting place in a picturesque setting. The rooms are quite comfortable and the breakfast is hearty. The staff is very accommodating but the Chateau is what makes it memorable. You won't be disappointed

We stayed one night in a standard room, everything was very clean, the shower was a rain shower, that was a nice touch, we didn't really liked the bed, to soft.
The breakfast was a bit disappointing, when you stay in such a beautiful hotel, you expect a little bit more then your standard continental breakfast.
The second night we stayed in a suite, it was a a very nice room, much bigger than the standard, the only thing wrong with it, was that the tv wasn't working.
We also had dinner in the restaurant, it was a real good dinner, good wine and friendly staf!

Second time we have stayed there. Too many little things like a lamp not fixed to the wall, television (iptv) didn't work. Breakfast not to standard of a 4 star hotel. garden looked messy, with dead plants in the pots and a lot of leaves on the courtyard. Dinner at the restaurant was better than the first time, but restaurant was still as chilly. The hotel looks beautiful on the outside, but to be a 4 star, facilities have to improve quite a lot

We stayed here for 2 nights in a standard room. The hotel is beautiful from the outside, the room was simple yet nice too: bed was comfy, bathroom was very clean and there was a rain shower. The breakfast was almost perfect: the cappuchino from the machine was bad, but that's the only negative point. Urspelt is a very small village, so there is no noise at all at night. Lovely!
We didn't make use of the hotel resaturant. Next time we might do so: In Clervaux there are very limited options for a nice dinner.
We 'used' Urspelt as a base to visit Clervaux, Vianden, Esch-sur-Sure. Alle these places can be visited easily by car.

During a roadtrip in continental Europe we spent one night at Chateau d’Urspelt. The place fits into the romantic idea of a small castle in a pitoresque landscape. The price is reasonable so the common man can also have a royal experience. We did not explore the area. For us it was a nice stop for one night in a romantic place.
The hotel is pet-friendly.
