Taxi was $10 from the ferry terminal.
First impression...the hotel looked like prefabricated trailers all joined together...some rooms have been renovated...but not the one we had.
There was no AC and the balconies were adjoining with the other rooms so I didn't feel comfortable leaving the patio open during the night. Room was worn looking and beds uncomfortable. WIFI was poor. Location was not walking distance to any restaurants but the one in the hotel had great food. Very close to the beach. And nice views.
Free breakfast in the morning.
We didn't have a car and there wasn't one available to rent but the lovely girls on the front desk were able to source one for us..thank heavens because we had book a bus tour of the island but they called us while we were there to cancel it...not enough English people.. I think the self guided tour was better anyway

Clean, quiet, reasonable and great access to the Ferry. We picked this hotel because we had to catch an early ferry back to PEI. It met all our expectations. Check in and check out were very smooth. We didn't eat in the restaurant so no oinion in this.

While on a bus tour recently, we stayed for 3 nights while touring the Iles du la Madeleine. This hotel was great. There was a great view of the ocean and great sunsets. The restaurant was good with great food and good service. My only negative comment was that it was not very accessible for people ( including me) with mobility issues. The bathroom was not accessible. The restaurant was hard to find on the fourth floor. But I enjoyed my stay very much.

I agree with the other reviews. Great location and views in the center of the Islands. Clean with comfortable beds and dated styling. Very low wattage lighting in small bathroom with insufficient safety bars so be careful. Trip to pool too arduous for me with some mobilty issues. No elevator to pool floor and many complicated stairs.As noted by others, mediocre continental breakfast BUT our dinners was amazingly good and reasonably priced. Had other pricey dinners elsewhere that could not compare. This was a pleasant surprise! Kudos to the chef and excellent serving staff.

Stayed for 3 nights during a tour. Room was clean and generous in size. Restaurant accommodated my food allergy admirably. Beautiful views. Pix is the view from my room. There is a great gift shop and a pool. Not speaking French is not an issue. Would stay there again or recommend to a friend.
