The location, staff and the interior is amazing. But the highlight of the hotel is definitely the Spa. I went to Milan for quite a stressful reason but the Spa really made me relax (and I didn't even have a massage).

When we planned our business trip 3 months ago and there was a miscommunication amongst staff so the hotel was never booked. This was discovered at 5.30am the day of the trip! A quick call to Milan and the very friendly English speaking front desk arranged 2 rooms bed and breakfast at a competitive price! Impressed!
When we arrive they parked our car, checked us in, recommended and booked a local restaurant and then showed us to our rooms. The rooms themselves were compact but perfect for one with a great design. The spa is worth a visit for sure.....although if I was really searching for feedback how they could improve and that is the sauna could have been a bit hotter.
Breakfast the following day however could not have been better! It was stunning!
As always it is the staff that make a hotel really sing and they did an outstanding job! Definitely a place to return to!
Ps the restaurant that was recommended was absolutely outstanding.

We are often in Milan and we will definitely go back to this staggering hotel.
It was recently opened after a private aristocratic house was renewed.
It's not exactly downtown but it's on the border of the Area C: this means you won't have to pay for this tax but on the other side you can walk to the very city centre.
All the staff was very nice.
If you have the budget: try it.

A beautiful hotel, with top notch service. Greeted by name by even the front desk clerk. The staff were helpful and pleasant. We were staying there for our 15yr wedding anniversary at the end of a long trip and the staff made special arrangements for us in the restaurant, such a nice touch. The rooms were creative and comfortable, and there were many little touches that just went above and beyond. That you to the entire team for making our last night in Italy very memorable. We will be back for sure.

Chateau Montfort offers great rooms and good service while in Milan. Our concierge failed to deliver on a tour of the Last Supper, so be cautious about that... but the hotel is good overall. Rooms are spacious and very comfortable.
