I have been staying at the Cheeca lodge for years now. In all that time I have never had one bad experience , ever....Why would anyone take a chance on any other resort ? They simply offer the best of everything....... rooms , staff , food , views , spa , are all the best of the keys.

We decided to stay in Cheeca Lodge for our family vacation . We spent there a marvelous 10 days . All kids has a fun every single day , lots and lots of all kind sport activities , very helpful hotel stuff a specially Dory Berger , can't wait to go there again .

We spent our 47 Anniversary trip here 3 years ago and it was great !
Returned this week for our 50 Anniversary trip and again found The Cheeca to be OUTSTANDING !
Why?,you may ask
First is THE STAFF,each one seems to have your comfort and enjoyment # 1 in their "to do list list" each day.
The pool staff headed by Orlando,see to it that every day isYOUR DAY at the pool , from towels to refreshments,they are there FOR YOU !
The afternoon entertainment at the pool side bar has a WOUNDERFUL singer 4-6 p.m.and he knows every song you may request from him and he and his wife are very friendly to all guest that may be there at that time.A really enjoyable time to be at the bar 4-6 p.m.
The resort itself has no pears,from the rooms,pools,food,erntertaiment and pure BEAUTY of the grounds.
WE WILL RETURN BECAUSE OF ALL OF THE ABOVEBOARD.

Incredible week at Cheeca Lodge. Our daughter and us choose the Cheeca after searching Islamorda area for the right place. This is tha most amazing place. We spent a week here prior to the wedding. We have many family and friends staying here also. First the staff here are the most friendly can do group of people you are ever going to meet. The food and drinks are top notch.This is a Resort right on the water with fishing water sports golf course 2 pools ( adults only) Spa gym several restaurants free shuttle within a 2 mile range.. With out question the best place for us.

As my husband and I arrived to the resort for our anniversary weekend 5 day getaway which was gorgeous as we pulled up to the valet, they promptly greeted us and said to go check in and we will take care of your bags, while we were getting checked in they offered us a glass of champagne ( nice touch) unfortunately our room was not ready so we decided to walk around resort which was absolutely beautiful with very lush landscaping, palm trees and exotic flowers. We relaxed in the lobby until our room was ready which took longer than I would have liked but we did happen to arrive earlier than the normal check time but we were staying in the penthouse islamorada suite spending $900 a night so I felt they should have made that a priority to get it cleaned more promptly than they did.
Our luggage was deliverered to the suite very quickly after it was ready for us, it was perfect and the suite was exactly like I imagined with an amazing balcony and view.
I had a spa day the next morning which was amazing and Marilyn & Kris were wonderful! Take advantage of the adult pool as it was very quiet and no kids!! While having my facial Kris found out that I had a few issues with the resort and she immediately had the spa manager Susan talk with me regarding them and she addressed those issues with the management team at the resort, one of the resort managers Samantha reached out to me and apologized for any of the inconveniences we had and she had quickly resolved them. That night we arrived back to our room to find a bottle of champagne and chocolate covered strawberries for our anniversary. We ate at the resort restaurants Atlantic edge ( steakhouse) and limoncello (Italian) and had excellent customer service from waiters Milos & Igor and at breakfast, the waiter Jean Joseph was awesome!!! All the valet guys especially Chris and the other taller gentleman were always quick to get our car and put our convertible down if we needed. There's so much to do paddle board, kayak, fish off their pier, play tennis or 9 hole golf course ( which were all free that's included in resort fee) but we really just wanted to relax and enjoy the beautiful views, which we did!! We had a great trip and will definitely return to Cheeca.
