stayed overnight on way to Sydney very comfy bed chinese restarant out front great food nice air con had to get woken up bed was so good will stay there again for sure this is non smoking but a little balconey for smokers

To be fair, the price of the room equals what you get in an older style motel on the Pacific Highway at Coffs Harbour. The address is a little deceptive because it is 106 Grafton St, that is the Pacific Highway, but I should have done my homework better. It is the Highway, there is a set of traffic lights very close by and it is noisy.
Yes the location, in the middle of Coffs Harbour central business district gives you quick and easy walking access to the shopping precinct, restaurants and the Coffs ExServices Club so that is a plus.
The room we were in was really in need of total refurbishment with a very basic, dated but functional bathroom with very noisy plumbing but a hot shower with good water pressure was a win.
My bath towel was way passed it’s used by date with frayed edges all the way round, the bed covering was an old style bedspread and only a sheet, no blanket. The rusted chrome bedside lamps need dumping.
All up, a few basic items like upgrading towels, bed covers and lamps would have lifted the feel and style without going overboard

We stayed at the Chelsea Motor inn for the Oztag Nationals. It is affordable. Clean and comfortable accommodation. Close to shops and restaurants. So a walk isn't out of the question. Staff are friendly. Definitely stay again.

Great value for a half way to Sydney overnight stop. Dinner at the RSL directly over the road is the best place for a feed. Being on the highway, don't expect a quiet night - but well enough insulated to have a pretty good nights sleep. We will stay again.

This motel was comfortable and clean and the staff were very helpful.On the downside the room needed a little paintwork in places and the gauze screen on the bathroom window needed replacing. There were also no reading lights either above or beside the bed.
This was one of the very few motels that actually had a phone number listed on their website so well done guys. I found a lot of motels are ruled by the online booking companies and are not permitted to list their own number.
It is a rort and should be illegal.
