Second time we've stayed at this Logis on our way back to the UK this time from Spain. Paid for an upgrade to a higher spec room as we booked a twin bedded room no booking.com by mistake (easy to do by the way!). However the upgraded room was one of the newly refurbished ones which was worth the increase.
Hotel was much busier this time & we didn't bother with breakfast as last time we found this to be very disappointing. We did howver eat at the Cyril Attragic restaurant on site which once again was excellent. See sepratae report.

very happy with the hotel; simple check in, simple but very clean and comfortable room. Parking is just front of the hotel's doors. You also can come with your electric car as there are 3 chargers on spot. Two restaurants you can choose from: the gastronomie one which you better pre-booked and the brasserie one which turns to be an atypical brasserie as service, menu are really upgraded at very reasonable brasserie prices!

We checked in and were not told that the water was off, so weren't able to shower on arrival. The water came back at 17:30, only to go off without warning around 21:30 and was off for the whole night. No apology at check in. No welcome drink either, which on a hot day would go a long way. The swimming pool (which is why we booked this hotel) was being refurbished and not available. The half board rate we were informed 3 days before arrival (despite having booked 7 months before) was not available for stays of less than 3 nights. Building work was underway, but clearly this should be a management issue, not a guest issue.

This hotel is very conveniently situated for a stop off between the North of France & either the French Cote Vermeille or when travelling through the Spanish border to the Costa Brava or beyond. It's in the pretty little village of Aumont Aubrac just 5 mins off the A75 , 30 mins odd North of the Milau bridge ,about 3 hrs from the Spanish Border & 5 hrs from Paris.
It has obviously been recently refurbished & indeed there would seem to be even more building extension under way out the back of the hotel. Limited parking at the moment but probably just enough in front of the hotel for the current rooms. Sensibly priced at C.€100 a night. Only disappointment (& it was a big one after the superb food the night before) was breakfast & this dropped our rating from good to average. Suggest skipping this!
The beds are comfortable, the rooms have all mod cons & there are 2 restaurants attached to the hotel, a brasserie which we didn't try & a Gourmet restaurant called Chez Camillou which we did. Indeed we are very glad we did as this restored our faith in genuine French 'Haute Cuisine'. See separate review of the restaurant.

We chose this hotel as it has a Tesla destination charger, so we could charge our car overnight.
The staff were very friendly and we were shown to a beautiful, though compact room with smart controls for the lights, curtains etc.
However the sensation was the Michelin Starred restaurant, to date the best meal (and service) we've ever had. I know i keep saying this in my reviews, but the game keeps moving on up.
The room was advertised as having a "pool view" but the pool is under re-construction (see picture), it looks like it it will be a great facility when it is open.
