This hotel is close to where our son lives, so we were pleased to stay there while visiting the new baby in the family. We had room 16, on the top floor and at the back as I had asked for, shared shower/toilet right next door didn't bother us, mostly pretty quiet, just some noise on the Saturday night, mostly loud voices of people leaving other establishments. Very good breakfast and helpful staff. Instructions for the TV would have been useful, but we did it in the end! We'll certainly go back.

An average hotel. Clean rooms. Comfortable bed. Small but decent bathroom. Good bus links into city centre. Not an awful lot of choice at breakfast time but what was there was pleasant enough. Front door is locked but on occasion, if reception staff are busy, you will be left waiting to be let in which given the hotel is on a busy main road, is a little frustrating. At times the reception staff were a little rude and not as friendly as one would expect from a hotel, however, it was noted that they were so incredibly busy. Would probably stay again if I got a good deal.

Used this as I was not familiar with area and had a few appointments, arrived by taxi, but is a good 25min walk to oval tube. quirky hotel, clean comfortable. I was in room 23, quite alot of stairs. Situated on main road so lots of amenities, busy road but noise not overwhelming. Staff friendly, good price. continental breakfast great choice. Would stay again if in area.

Needed to be local to Kings College hospital due to an emergency otherwise wouldn’t have stayed as long as I did.
Reception staff less than helpful...( stock answer always seemed to be “my manager say”)
Up about 40 rickety stairs ( no help with suitcase) to a small bedroom. For eclectic read tacky. The claustrophobic bathroom had the small shower I’ve come across ...complete with dirty shower head..yuk!

Our daughter booked us in here as it was close to her flat. We were pleasantly surprised as to the warm welcome by the staff and the quality of the establishment. A good sized room with ensuite, comfortable bed and little tokens of chocolate and a small jar of home maid spice. The breakfast area was beautifully set up and the continental breakfast excellent. All in all highly recommended.
