We visited here probably 15 years ago and it was a 4 star hotel. I remember the doorman was well dressed and helpful now all they have are valets who handle your car but your on your own when it comes to your bags. Cleaning lady made the bed while we were out but didn’t remove the trash from our room. Our room was supposed to be ready at 3 pm. We got there at 6 pm and they had trouble finding a room for us. This place is done. It’s on par with a Red Roof Inn now.

We stayed at the Cincinnatian Hotel. We drove from Chicago and got to the hotel on Friday night almost at midnight
The valet man seemed upset that we were there. Didnt even seem like he wanted tp help us. He finally did help with a luggage cart, threw our luggage very aggressively on it and left. Dropped off my car keys at the reception desk and didnt see him again til the next morning. My car sat in front of the hotel for hours before it was moved. Parking at the hotel is $35 00 a night which I wasn't aware of because when I checked in the woman was definitely not a people person. She asked for my credit card and licence. She gave me them back with the room key and didnt provide any direction to our room . A couple employees were good but others were just plain lazy. We left on Sunday, a different man working the valet got my car handed me my keys, only after he realized that I was going to tip did he offer to help put our luggage in the trunk.
Breakfast was overpriced cold and slow service definitely not worth paying for. Was told there would coffee in the lobby which was empty.
No coffee maker in the room. No refrigerator or microwave. The elevator was dirty and sticky.
If you want to spend that much on a room. Do yourself a favor and go to the Westin down the street.

we were delighted with our stay at the beautifully-restored historic cincinnatian hotel: hospitable staff; large gracious room with luxurious bathroom; terrific public spaces in the hotel; and located in the heart of the city, a district of excellent bars and restaurants, easy walk to the riverfront and the city's sports locations

On first impression the Cincinnatian Hotel was elegant, and the staff was extremely courteous. Our room, a whirlpool king, wasn't as big as I expected from the pictures, but the bathroom made up for it: the shower was huge with dual shower heads, including body jets. It had a separate toilet room and sink. A nice big vanity to do my makeup, and a deep whirlpool tub. The heated floors were also a great luxury. The only thing that disappointed me was that I was looking forward to soaking in the tub with a glass of wine and watching a show on the bathroom TV, but the TV didn't work. When we called the service desk, they admitted that they new it wasn't a working TV. So I thought it was pretty crappy they still placed us in that room, but it wasn't a deal breaker. The bed was super comfy. The bar was also nice to socialize for a few happy hour drinks, but I wish it stayed open later because quite a few of us were looking forward to hanging out there after dinner. I was also very disappointed the restaurant was closed; my husband and I looked forward to a nice dinner there for our anniversary. They did however have a free shuttle to the Casino, which was a nice perk. All and all it was a nice enough hotel, but it could use some tending to management wise, i.e. restaurant and bar.

We were not thrilled staying here. The room is nice, but outdated for what we paid. Wear socks. The rooms have a weird looking wood floor that is constantly freezing. Also, the bathroom door is a Louvre door, so expect whoever is staying in the room with you to hear everything you do in the bathroom...We got in late after travelling all day. We were tired and crazy thirsty. No vending areas where you can just grab a Coke, and no waters available in the room. We had to chase down a valet and then he left our car running in the street. Luckily, no one drove off in it. I'm disappointed that we already paid for two nights or we would have went somewhere else.
