The hotel is on the stripe and oofer the best price I can find . Its good value for money , the room is spacy and clean , the service is fast and OK , we check in and out in short time . There are plenty of parking space and the buffet is good value for the money . There is no need to go anywhere as the casino is there ! Highly recommended !

I was concerned about staying here because of the negative reviews that I had read. After we arrived we found everyone of those reviews to be without merit. From talking to the staff on the phone before we arrived to the time it came to for us to leave we have nothing but the best to say about the staff and service we received. There are a lot of hotels that could learn a thing or two about customer service from Circus Circus. Yes, it is an older hotel, but that’s why we wanted to stay here. Everything was clean and comfortable. The food was really good and priced reasonably at every restaurant we ate at CC. We found our room to also be clean and comfortable. We have already changed the hotel for our next Vegas Visit to Circus Circus and are already looking at having another great time here.
We enjoyed our stay

I was at the Circus Circus with my two boys (11 and 9) back in August, during the UK school holidays. I decided to write a review since there appear to be a lot of negative reviews that I think are a little unfair. I get the impression that a lot of reviews are written by people who go on business trips and so get to stay at 5 star hotels, on expenses. I have experienced that sort of life myself, but this review is based on a realistic view of a hotel which people are paying for themselves.
Firstly, I've seen criticisms that the hotel isn't in the main 'hub' of the LV Strip. Well its positioning is probably not ideal if that's all you want. However the hotel is about halfway between the 'main strip' and downtown, so if you want to take advantage of both then this is probably ideal. We did walk to the well known part, which probably took us about half an hour but so what? We were on holiday.
Anyway, we hired a car (one of those monstrous SUV's the Americans like to drive) with the intention of using it to see more of America. It had never been my intention to stay just in LV, but also to give the boys something of a cultural visit as well. Vegas is quite well positioned although some places are still quite a drive. However you do rather get used to 'hitting the road' and enjoying the ride. We went to Monument Valley (absolutely fabulous), the Grand Canyon (great except it poured with rain an hour after we got there), Death Valley, Red Rock Canyon, Hoover Dam ... We saw some incredible scenery on the way and some great places to eat (we found a deli bar in a town somewhere that served some great chicken, fruit pies ...).
Anyway, back to Circus Circus. When we were there, we stayed in the Skyrise tower and quite high up. The view was great, especially at night. The only problem we occasionally encountered was that the lifts (elevators to non-UK) were often very busy, and on one occasion there had obviously been a run of new guests and there was a queue just to get outside the lifts (I think a couple had gone out of order as well). The room itself was clean and kept clean daily. It had aircon, but as has been mentioned a fridge would have been nice (the temperature in August, even at night, approaches the 30's) so it would have been nice to have had a couple of cold beers.
The hotel is vast (by UK standards anyway). To actually leave the hotel would usually take 5 minutes. First the lift down and then a long walk through the shops/restaurants/casino areas. This isn't really a problem since it was good to see how lively the place was. There's also the 'theme park', which was good value if you were staying at the hotel as you got a discount. A day ticket wasn't massively expensive and it kept my two busy virtually all day (and gave me time to relax).
Due to the weather the two pools were always busy but we did on a couple of occasions take a day out to Las Vegas's Wet 'n Wild. That too was busy though but again it kept the boys busy all day. In heat of over 30 degrees during the day, I think the pools would have been busy even if they were double the size.
The surrounds are nowhere as busy as the main LV strip, but there are places to eat (including the ubiquitous McDonalds which I refused to let the boys go to more than once). There was what I can only describe as a 'street food' Mexican place down the road a little (5 minutes walk) which I loved as I'm into that kind of thing. Was it good? Let's just say that I didn't go there as often as I'd have liked because the queue to order food spilled out into the street. I never saw it anything but busy.
There were a choice of restaurants in the hotel, some of which we used, plus an ice cream parlour (and Krispy reme Donuts) that the boys couldn't walk past. In fact on a couple of occasions, we were on holiday remember, we dined on a box of Krispy Kreme donuts.
So to summarise, we all had a great time so if you're taking the kids and (like me) want somewhere comfortable to lay your head at night, don't hesitate to stay here.
2 Night Stay

We stayed at the Circus Circus in November over a weekend, purchased via groupon at a great price.
Hotel was fab, rooms and bathroom spacious and clean. Lots to offer/do. Would certainly cater for families. Plenty of places to eat in the hotel.
Only downside which has nothing to do with the hotel is the location. If you want to be in the heart of vegas this is abit of a walk/bus journey from the strip. However bus stop was just outside the hotel and we managed to see all of vegas in the way we wanted so wasn't a problem to us at all.
Great value for money and would highly recommend.
I would def stay here again.

The Circus Circus Hotel/Casino is one of the few remaining classics. Old enough to be considered a classic, but clean enough to be considered a solid value. A Saturday night stay in November was a little over $100 with the resort fee and additional taxes. Our room wasn’t by any means the fanciest in Vegas, but it was clean, and that is what was important.
The real pleasure with staying at the Circus Circus is the environment. If you come to visit Vegas for the bright lights, and glitzy atmosphere you will def enjoy staying here. This particular resort does a nice job of offering things to do for families with younger children.
My only negative to our stay, and it has nothing to do with the Circus Circus Resort itself is that the hotel/casino is sort of far away from the other places you might want to visit. In years past there were several other mega resorts located right around the Circus Circus but for one reason or another they are all gone now. If you want to be right in the middle of all the action of the strip this might not be your best option.
