We were apprehensive when the cab pulled up outside this hostel in a residential area, however once we stepped inside we were pleasantly surprised. The private room we had was large with an en-suite and cost little more than the shared dorm rooms. Their laundry service was cheap and fast, and the staff were pleasant and able to assist us with any questions we had. Fast wifi throughout the whole hostel and we were within walking distance from the beach. Only piece of advice, write down the hostels name and address as almost all the cabs we took didn't recognise the hotel or the area.

- nice basic hostel
- great and helpful staff
- hostel is slightly away from anything. But in a safe residential neighbourhood of Miraflores. So felt you could walk around the area at night.
- communal kitchen was ok. Looked like it needed a deep clean though
- comfortable social space with TV and beanbags
- ok wifi connection in different areas of the hostel

I was in Cirque Hostel in December 2015 with a friend for one night. The Hostel is clean and comfortable. Miraflores was a short walking way from the hostel. I especially appreciated the help of the man at the reception. From Lima we had a flight the next day to Cuzco in order to visit Machu Picchu and wanted to travel afterwards to Lake Titicaca. We did not book anything yet and asked the man in the hostel for help. He organized with us our whole trip during the night in the best way possible since we were short in time, called agencies for us in order to negotiate the prices etc. He speaks English, Spanish and French and is a really kind and fun person. Definitely recommended.

We only stayed one night, so this hostel was fine for the price. I think staying any longer would have killed our spirits. It was fine, pretty basic, reasonably clean. There aren't really any restaurants or anything in the immediate vicinity and it's quite a walk from the main part of Miraflores. The guys working there were pretty nice and helpful.

We stayed at this hostel for four nights and it was enjoyable. It is in a very nice area within walking distance to restaurants, shops and a few sights. You can also walk or take a short cab to downtown and Baranco. The rooms are clean and the water is hot.
This is a good hostel, the problem is that it could easily be a great hostel with a bit of effort. It has a kitchen but it's really dirty. It has a rooftop but with hardly any furniture and the furniture it does have is covered in drying clothes. It has an entertainment area but the books and DVDs are in a poor state. But probably most disappointing is the staff aren't very helpful. When we needed to print some important bus tickets they told us we couldn't use their printer and sent us on a wild goose chase to find a printing shop.
So for the price this place is reasonable and you won't be disappointed you stayed here!
