This hotel was a like a second home to me. It has free WiFi in the room and is near to the shopping area and has lots of eateries in nearby Chinatown. You can even do your own laundry in this hotel.
I had booked a King sized bedroom which I requested to be split into 2 twin sized beds. The check in was courteous, friendly and professional.
I highly recommend this hotel.

Very clean (even that pesky shower head) and very central, walk anywhere and you even have a free tram stop out your front door.
We stayed for the Spring Carnival and #1505's bed was awesome. The light wasn't very good because you have an apartment building next door, so if you want city views and more natural light you will need a higher room. Microwave, cutlery and crockery was great and your own little dishwasher!
Pool is heated - so go for it - we did - the cold water in the gym is useful to fill your water bottle too ;)
We also stayed in #1707 because we extended our stay and Citadines were pretty helpful, but we moved all our stuff ourselves anyways because we wanted to. Unfortunately the message wasn't passed on and the things in our fridge were thrown away instead of transferred to the new room. But awesome Citadines went out and bought them again to my exact specification (I love my Nudie extra pulp OJ).
#1707's bed wasn't as good as #1505, so I would recommend a mattress upgrade there but overall an awesome stay. Would definitely come back.
Citadines could improve on the fares between Ascott membership and matching Expedia etc prices. It was weird that we got a better price online with Citadine's own company/Ascott than just extending the stay at Reception. I do need to say that the parking at Citadines was fantastic, car, lift to room - and pretty well priced compared to other parking stations.

Stayed here for two nights with husband and 16 month old baby. Clean and spacious deluxe studio apartment. Convenient location in the heart of Melbourne. Easy walk to main shopping area and Federation Square and Carlton Gardens on the other side of the city. We got to check-in at noon after an early morning flight. There is a tram stop outside that would take you to Spencer St station for the Skybus to the airport - which we did on the way back, was quick and super easy. Would stay here again!

Citadines has provided the impressive services at the time of checking in until departing the place. The room is clean and neat. The facilities including fitness and pool are all we need.
The location is perfect for my business connections additional to all tourist spots can be reached on foot.

This is my second time here and this time we got to stayed high floor that we could see beautiful view of Melbourne. The room Looks nice and it's have a good function. The front desk service was good and friendly.
