This is a pretty town with heaps of history and great buildings but this place adds nothing. Comfortable enough and rooms are ok but the views of the carpark don't do it for me.
Supposedly has wifi but never connects, let alone works, and the hotel staff seem quite disinterested

Good location for visiting the old town of Parthenay, OK but rather basic room. Parking good off road at the back of the hotel. No food or drink available in the hotel when we were there but close to restaurants and bars in the town. Fine for an overnight stop.

The receptionist was very helpful and friendly and the hotel is very central with free parking. Otherwise, pretty clean and basic hotel. The town felt like a bit of a ghost town. I know it is french holidays in August but there were many shops to let. A shame as some interesting history there.

We have stayed in this hotel regularly over several years en route between Tarn-et-Garonne and St Malo as it a convenient half way stopover. The staff are always welcoming and do everything to make your stay a pleasant one. The two star hotel, which is without a restaurant (but an excellent breakfast), has the basic necessities and there is a good selection of restaurants close by. A plus for us is that the car park behind the hotel is secured at night so we feel we do not have to take everything out and take it inside.
We arrived later than planned last week, and too tired to eat out. We were shown the menu of the nearby pizza place, reception ordered our meal and we were able to eat it, with a bottle of wine and knives and forks, in the little salon on the ground floor. Could not have been better!
All credit to the management for excellent service.

On first arrival in Parthenay, our first impression of the hotel was it looked a bit dated, and this was born out when we entered the hotel and more particularly our room. Which was clean-ish but ha not been hoovered and just generally looked like it was in need of modernising. However,one of the biggest surprises to us that were no tea or coffee making facilities at all in the room. and that if we used the coffee or tea provide din the reception area, we were charged 2.50 euros per cup. breakfast was an additional 8 euros approx and was very nice, good selection etc, lovely fresh croissants, brioche and bread etc. However, adding the additional breakfast and drinks to our bill made it more expensive than we anticipated and made it poor value for money. The staff are helpful, especially Veronique, who went the extra mile to assist us with our plans, recommending restaurants and places to visit etc.
