So, we found this small city of about 35,000 people just a short distance from Venice called Conegliano. We only planned to stay for just one night but the connection to the city pushed us into 3 days. Like most cities of Italy this one also has good culture, friendly people, things to do inside as well as outside of the main center. Oh, we can't forget the food of the region is something that connects one to the people and the way of life. Also while there, we managed to slip into 2 shows at the teatro Accademia. The first night there, we saw the group from the United States called the Harlem Gospel Choir a sold out event. Although not a gospel seeker, this group put on a very good show--especially for the cost of the tickets and seatings. The second night, we saw Odio Amleto which was spectacular as this is a show all the ladies would enjoy watching as well as hearing. To close, Italy is full of surprises, you just have to be willing to find them---Conegliano is one of those treasures! Please let me know if you visited other places like this so I may consiser paying them a visit as well. Best wishes.

Clean rooms, quite location, 15 minutes walk from the train station. Very basic breakfest, no option for dinner, not much of facilities in the hotel, very basic in all means.
Better to have a car in order to reach to resturants or other attractions.

Even though the rooms are small the staff make your time in small Veneto town most agreeable. The breakfast and coffee is really good. Ten minute walk to the train station so you have easy access to Venice and Treviso. The town of Conegliano itself is well worth exploring.

A 70s style hotel, some improvement would be nice.i never experienced a shower stall too narrow to get out (I'm not skinny, but it never happened to me). The hotel si not far from bus and railway station and from the city center. A management change is currently underway, in the meanwhile WiFi was not available (February 2016). The staff is kind and ready to help.

Very much a standard hotel, clean. Very comfortable bed. But beware of South-facing rooms: the main railway line to Treviso and Venice passes nearby.
Incidentally - as the station is also within walking distance - this is also a good place for visiting Venice: enjoy the hustle and bustle of that iconic place - and retreat to a quiet but very pleasant medieval town at night!
