Checked in for 3 nights on a weekend in Melbourne which had many sporting events on so we booked a few months in advance. A one bedroom apartment on the 3rd floor. This place is aged. The elevator is small, the hallway floors are timber covered in carpet and noisy. The apartment room also had timber floors and outside our room had a restaurant exhaust fan which operated till all hours. The tiles and grouting in the bathroom could do with a good clean. I mention the floors as we could hear our neighbours come an go too at all hours. Luckily the block out blind on the only window in the room was good & kept the room dark. Our view was to an open plan office. The bathroom linen was good, there could be better cleaning utensils in the kitchen as I had to wash the glasses etc before we used them. We did use the hot plate etc for breakfast and it worked fine. Wifi worked. Staff were friendly and pleasant. We were able to store our bags after checkout until our departure for the airport. For the price we must have been paying for the location!

Nice and clean. Very basic but didn't expect any luxury as it was very cheap. Large king sized bed, desk, table, kitchenette and bathroom. TV worked and played all channels.
It was quite loud in the hall and at the window, which didn't close properly, but all in all I was very pleased!

The accomodation is very misleading on the site. Disgracefully dirty room, towels provided were dirty, Room was horrible, do not waste your money! Would never stay here again, staff were not friendly.

Located near Hardware Lane, YTI is in a great location. It’s within walking distance to lots of attractions, shopping & cafes in the CBD. We had a King Room on the 4th floor overlooking Little Bourke Street. The room was spacious & clean. We stayed on a Friday & Saturday night and didn’t have any issues with outside street noise. There is a car park nearby which the hotel has a deal with for discounted car parking. Would definitely stay at YTI again.

$125 for a night - Ive stayed in way better places in Melbourne for similar prices. Room was dated, basic and smelt of urine.
List of replacement prices for everything in the room was placed on the door in case you steal or break something ($1500 for the $250 tcl telly 😱)
Fantastic location but wouldnt stay again.
