For the price, the service is really nice, 24/7 reception, cozy room, everything u need, the hotel seems to be renovated from an old house, so it has that nice atmosphere but all facilities are really new and everything is nice an clean.
As a budget hotel, they still go the extra with giving biscuit and an apple, makes one feel very warm.
Location is prime, a 2 minute walk to the town square and the bus station that goes to the stonehenge(which was the main place I wanted to visit on the trip).

Arrived before 3pm check in. £10 to check In early which we declined or we were directed to a car park we could park for free all day Sunday. Can not fault our stay here- went to the local Oktoberfest.. hotel was very central perfect for what we wanted. Clean, comfy bed. Definitely would stay again!

I stayed at the City Lodge 13/14 October. The hotel is nice and is in a good location for shops and is also not far from the market square. It does not do breakfast but there are plenty of places nearby to eat. I was in room 20, a single room. The room was nice and comfortable. The only problem is that there is a nightclub right opposite the hotel and room 20 is on the front overlooking the nightclub. I arrived at about 1pm but I could not check in till 3pm but they allowed me to leave my case in a back room. The reception was always willing to help with queries. There was plenty of tea and coffee on the complimentary tray. Despite the nightclub I would still stay here again.

Lovely sized bedrooms, massive bathrooms, clean and tidy and helpful staff. Although there is a nightclub across the road you don’t hear anything.
Stayed at this hotel on 2 separate occasions and would 100% stay here again!!

Gives you everything you want if you want a great night sleep in the centre of Salisbury. Comfortable beds, 24/7 reception, complementary coffee/tea tray with biscuits and bottled water. Free WiFi and very clean.
