tax issues in money payment in hotel

i had booked hotel in clear trip because of low price offered. however,when i went there they did not acknowledge the payment made through website. they had asked me to deposit again the room rent.i disagreed and called costumer care. the costumer care called the owner and told about the money. he agreed after listening to the costumer care however still asked me to put money promising to fully refund it back. my check out was early morning. so when i asked for my refund,they took 20% deposit as tax. even though i told them that i had paid online inclusive of tax,they did not relent. i had
to board train and i took whatever little they gave me back. this is the reality happening. although the hotel service was good and well mannered, fleecing of money and lack of coordination with the internet booking website now makes me to think twice before booking.hope it sorts out in future

To say that I was very disappointed about this place means to say nothing...
1) We paid on-line for 3 nights in this guest house in the beginning of November 2014 as my friend and I made arrangements of our trip in advance, but when we came there the person at the reception told us, that there is no payment (!!!). Then we phoned ClearTrip agency to manage this situation and explain this receptionist that we already paid. I have no idea what the Clear trip agent and the receptionist of the guest house were talking about, but after the phone call the receptionist of the guest house informed us, that maybe the money hadn't reach their account yet (after 2 months !!!), and it's week-end and the banks don't work... and bla-bla-bla... so let's wait for Monday... But anyway they charged us additionally for the stay. :(
2)The room was dirty, the bathroom was even more dirty than the room (dirt was all around, no hygiene at all, just ansanitary conditions). The sheets were all in spots and somebody's shoes prints. We asked the guest house personnel to change our pillows and sheets, but they brough the same kind of linnen... And one more thing: they gave us only one towel but it was also dirty...
3) We were not able to stay in that place longer than 1 night, it was a disaster... I called the Clear Trip Agency again to ask for help and return our money for 3 nights back, but they did not help!!!
So I strongly advise to bann this guest house and never use Clear Trip Agency's services! It was our big mistake to use their services...

Rooms, not bad. It is good that they have heater in the room, and it works all the time.
But, the hospitality is the reason why I'm giving a single star review.
Also, Who likes to give a 10% service tax for bringing food from the terrace restaurant to my room the floor below.?
And, sometime, they offer to buy us outside food, but, at the end, they just charged tooo much for it, even without producing the bill.

Thid is a good hotel. The breakfast is a bit little and no choice. The wifi and tv (if you need it) are good. It's clean and not far to CP. It's a crowdy neighbourhood but in the hotel the noise is oke.

wifi is not provided in the hotel. after asking to enable wifi, they said is not working. in morning i call 3 times to reception to on geaser but noone has come to check the geaser. overall all experience about hotel is good i.e. average
