A plesant place to stay
daviddeselleon 24/10/2017 02:26Very friendly and efficient staff, clean rooms and close to everything. Can't ask for much more. Stayed for two nights for a conference and had no issues getting back late to our room. Even the parking was extremely well lighted.
Nice motel that is apparently being remodeled
Beachtravel_10on 13/10/2017 05:54We needed a place to stay while driving down the coast from Oregon to Sacramento and ended up looking in Eureka. The Clarion was easy to find, right on the main road. Our room was towards the back, and was apparently recently painted.
The indoor pool is nice, but there is no bathroom in the building. We witnessed one child use the shower to relieve himself because he had to go badly. Yuck.
The breakfast was standard hotel food. It was hot and filling, but nothing special.
Hopefully once the motel is remodeled everything will be nicer, but I felt like we spent too much $ on a "hotel" that was really a motel/motor lodge type place.
**DO NOT order pizza from the Brick and Fire pizza place. It took over 2 hours for delivery.
Warning ! A Shoddy Establishment

Mistakes happen i thought , just reverse the charges ... I had to insist ... They told me I should go to the local Wells Fargo on a Saturday ! I was taken aback , we all know how cards work. ... Just reverse the charges ...finally they reversed charge. When i got home I discovered another unauthorized charge which took days for them to remove .
Do yourself a favor . Avoid this place

holidaysforuson 19/09/2017 04:22Typical motel feel. Did have complimentary coffee etc in the lobby. Room was clean. Had a microwave which we hadn't found before. 15 to 20 minute walk to Historic Quarter but decided to get a cab back as we didn't feel safe walking which we are sorry to say is the first place this has happened on our travels so far.
Clean and Updated
jgemzaon 10/09/2017 06:00We arrived late in the afternoon and contractors were painting the outside of the hotel. Our room was updated already which had a nice sink and bath area, although the toilet seemed older-slow drain. The TV did not appear to have HD stations, on the major networks, but still worked fine. The pool was available but had to walk outside to enter. The last guest did not turn off the alarm clock so it waked us up at 5 AM. Nice aquarium in the lobby. Rated this stay very good because it was updated, but had some issues.
