This Marriott is a few miles from airport. Pluses: lobby bar, free airport shuttle , hertz rental drop off - minuses: old style - rooms not updates with USB, small bathroom and low shower head , bath towels beyond their lifespan - it's close to airport for an overnight stay. Staff was friendly.

Hard to describe this hotel. The exterior was dated and next to a freeway. Parking is free only to Elite members. There are two buildings - the lobby and restaurant in one and the concierge room in the other. The hotel itself is older (built in 60's or 70's) and a bit worn, but clean. The concierge room food was under Marriott standards. The room was also a bit worn, but in good shape and clean. Clearly not a top end Marriott, but not bad. Not really close to the airport. Ambivalent if I would return or not.

Very nice hotel and quite accommodating to my sons hockey team. Great bar and lounge area and very friendly staff. Biggest complaint for me was the beds. Way too bouncy. These need to be fixed in my humble opinion.

I have stayed overnight and parked (without staying) at this hotel multiple times. The hotel is an average Marriott in the chain - could use a bit of a refresh but overall nice enough for a stay before an early flight. Their airport parking rates are the cheapest around when they are available.
Every time I have used this hotel to park or stay, I have always encountered an extremely rude team member at the front desk at one end of the stay. It's almost as if they are going out of their way to make me feel unwelcome, especially when only parking. On my last visit, an abnormal amount of traffic in the morning was causing me to run a bit later than anticipated, cutting it too close to my standby flight. I arrived to fill out the parking form a few minutes before the shuttle departed and asked the front desk if they could hold the shuttle for an extra minute or two so I could park. Her response was "No - Other people need to get to the airport too. The next shuttle is in 20 minutes." This type of guest response is entirely inappropriate, and sadly, typical of this hotel.
This is the type of front desk service you can expect to receive at the Cleveland Airport Marriott. Service from other hotel employees, however, has always been well above average. Rooms are average for the chain.

Second trip to Cleveland in 2 weeks, and a road weary traveler when I checked in today. You never know what you expect when you get to a hotel you have never stayed at before. I got in late afternoon, and was greeted, checked in and taken care of by Gaby at the front desk. What a pleasant and fun lady. Thanks Marriott for having people like her on your customer team. She's great. I will be back at this hotel in November, in part because it is a great hotel but in part because of the way she handled my check-in.
