What People are saying

The worst place I've ever stayed and it wasn't cheap.

MissySanchezon 11/07/2015 16:56

First they charged us more than it was suppose to cost. It took us like 45mins to check in because the girls didn't know what they were doing (we decided not go with the all inclusive package because I could see as soon as we walked into the hotel I didn't my family eating there). When we finally carried all our luggage upstairs(there wasn't an elevator) we were led to our room. When they opened the door there were TWO HUGE DEAD COCKROACHES!!! The housekeepers swept them up and thought we were good to go.. We carried all our luggage back down the stairs:). They were very to upgrade our room to a ocean view. We stayed there for three days only because with our three kids all our luggage and no car it seemed like an adventure we didn't want to endure. We didn't eat anything from the hotel being that it was infested with cockroaches of every kind.

horrible end of the year experience

No hot water, no room phone, every time a problem arose you have to walk to the reception desk and stand in line to talk to someone, no A/C inside the rooms, dirty rooms, insects all over the place, dirty swimming pool, rude management, no elevators for elder people or disabled people, a nightmare for a handicapped people, horrible beds. very old televisions etc, etc.

hotel was terrible

Do NOT go here. Just returned yesterday after a week there. The bartender was great, only one who spoke English there and he went out of his way to help everyone. Our room was pretty nice for the money, but we were lucky and got a corner junior suite. Otherwise the place is worn down, looks like they are working on updates. The food was so awful. We took the all inclusive and managed to find something to eat most meals, but only one thing and rice. We are not fussy people at all, but for an all inclusive restaurant you should not be crossing your fingers at every meal that there is one thing you could possibly eat. Fruit was served usually only at breakfast-that was your usual omelet, bacon, French toast and some Mexican dishes. Lunch--let's just say thank goodness for Saturday and Sunday when they put out hamburgers in the bar. There were several days it literally turned our stomach to go in and look. Dinners--we managed to find one thing 5 nights out of 7 to eat along with some very dry bread and rice. Never any desserts and salads that you are asking for trouble if you eat them. There were 2 people that got sick eating there while we were there. (that's out of 6 of us that were there and spoke to each other, so not good odds). With the all inclusive you were not able to eat off the bar menu with quesadillas, hamburgers, fries like other all inclusives--only the buffet. I read the reviews before we booked and thought that since we weren't fussy people, we'd be OK. WRONG! We had to put out our own chairs on the beach and they only had 5 umbrellas, all torn and bent. No one was there and we were told it was slow time, but that doesn't matter to us, we still paid a lot of money to make a trip there. This was truly our worst vacation we have ever taken. Like I said, the bartender was great, went way out of his way to help us and everyone else there that spoke only English. He was running all over the place trying to take care of everyone that needed something. Only high spot of the trip.
