Very nice hotel
Juli99on 06/11/2017 16:38The hotel is in the northern coast of Sardinia, about 4hr by car from Cagliari through winding roads. The Costa Esmeralda is just lovely. The hotel is located halfway between the best beaches in the area so it’s perfect for visiting several beaches during your holidays.
We had a lovely and spacious room with a “cabana” with a double lounger, perfect for relaxing in the evenings. The bed and bathroom were very comfortable.
The hotel doesn’t have WiFi that we could tell.
Breakfast was basic, not a lot of choices, they did have nice coffee though.
It’s located right next to a camping site which kind of ruins the views, but nothing terrible.
Location-wise, close to many great beaches, but a car is definitely needed.
Best choice for the north of Sardinia

This is a beautiful little place on the north coast where we could enjoy a comfortable, air-conditioned night, and drive to anywhere we wanted in the day. Staff are really friendly and it was a pleasure to come back there each night.

Kjell Rune Aon 03/08/2017 01:43Kind staff with a better standard then expected. We really enjoyed our stay in the first floor of this hotel. Absolutely worth the money! 3 minute walk to the beach, but stay out of the beach restaurant, Jatika. There are so many other restaurants to visit. Jatika has seriously management problems. Waiters are excellent, but the owners have seriously mafia issues. Threatening with cops if you do complain on the meal you've ordered. All other restaurants in the area have good pizza, pasta and fresh local fish on their menu. Lovely an quiet area for family's or couples. I do highly recommend this hotel.

Maxim87LFCon 26/09/2016 15:00We stayed in a double suite at the start of September and were very happy: the location was great for visiting quiet and beautiful local bays, beaches and restaurants by car (recommended) and close to Santa Teresa (20-minute drive); there was a lovely beach and a handful of good restaurants within walking distance; the room was huge, clean, quiet and very comfy; breakfast was plentiful; there was internet access from the comfy tables in the garden and bar; the family running the hotel were all very kind and helpful in arranging excursions, transfers, meals, spontaneous coffees and anything else we needed. Great for a relaxing week away - thank you!
We came first in 2008
Noel Gon 06/07/2016 23:18We visited this fine place in 2008 on a tour of the North of the Island with my wife's sister an her husband . We were made most welcome. We wanted to return some day.It is a fairly long drive from Alghero with windy roads. And having had health issues a few years ago , an unfamiliar underpowered Golf Automatic and right hand driving made for a tedious journey that was well worth it. It is still family run although the strawberry trees seem to have gone and the gardens while still beautiful seem neglected possibly due to the passing of a Senior family member who we remember as a fine gentleman.
Rooms are still the same , spacious and clean and Sunbeds and balcony for all
We are coming back again probably very soon. You can relax up here without the beach salesmen of the bigger resorts.There are good eating places nearby (see separate review )we need to figure a way without the drive.
