Upscale place with excellent dim sum. No carts here, everything is ordered from a waiter and freshly prepared. More expensive but worth it. Avoid the long crunching lines of some of the big tea houses and have a more peaceful meal. On a quiet block just steps from Canal St and across the street from the excellent Museum of Chinese in America.

We found the food to be very good here. Quick delivery to the table. Everything was very good and very tasty. A bit of a fancier ambiance than most Chinese or Dim Sum places but reasonable prices.

Very good authentic cuisine, you get a chart with all the dishes and check the ones you want, we ate here twice because the food was just good, anything we tried was just so tasty and fresh

Dinner here was very disappointing since two of our trusted foodie friends recommended it, and we had avoided it as a tourist trap (many non-native patrons) We should’ve stuck with our instincts, but it was across the street from our ultimate destination. Our impression had been that it was a trendy Asian fusion hot spot. No fusing and mainly Chinese American fare. Maybe we chose the wrong dishes and wrong time. The space was loud (bright, glittery and reflective) and very tight. The highlight was Peking duck sliders (6 for $24). You do not get any of the carcass or leftover meat. A special that night was Hong Kong style sweet and pungent fish fillet. Silly me, this was nothing more than the sweet and sour whatever you can get at any takeout all over America—silly because I was misled by the “Hong Kong style.” Companion had chicken with cashews, dish straight out of the 50s. Both entrees were so-so. The fish was almost mushy and both portions were average size. Rice and tea were extra (as usual in Chinatown). There were plenty of other much better menu choices—which we may try if we ever go back. Their prices are way more than the usual C-Town prices, so unless you’re going there for the party atmosphere or in that locale, we probably wouldn’t return. Service was good and manager was very accommodating, allowing a discount even tho I had forgotten my discount card.

Food was completely mediocre. If not a bit worse but it was slow. Service is not attentive and the dim sum comes out ridiculously slow. No liquor license does not help the situation. Only good thing was a good Groupon.
