A little seedy/dark
a4naughton 06/11/2017 23:32Although this Travelodge is well-located in an otherwise desolate stretch of the I-5, it is set back from the roadway with no prominent sign and in a pretty dark area. Nothing to recommend this whole area except that there is nothing else in this stretch, to be fair. Dennys right there, lots of cheap food within walking distance if you like fast food. Room verging on the condition of an old Motel 6, with some repairs needed. No hot water. Good thing we weren't showering. Reported to the desk at the end of our stay for others' benefits. A little sketchy feeling, though I couldn't put my finger on why (maybe just the darkness). Just a night stay to break up a long trip, so didn't expect much. Too bad there weren't any refurb Motel 6's in the area, or that would have been better. If you want more than coffee and cold cereal, in a minuscule foyer, look elsewhere for value added.
Very modest basic budget room
jamestN360DWon 26/10/2017 00:34Very basic budget room for 4 (2 double beds). Small room, clean, barely enough room to get by the beds. TV had damaged screen. It's in cow country, so the smells are, um, fragrant (not that they can help that). Flies are tough to keep out of the room, though. Way cheaper than the alternative across the freeway, though. A/C worked fine and bathroom was tiny but clean.
Convince and inexpensive
JuliaBell1976on 16/10/2017 13:27Overall this location is a good place to stay. Don't plan on getting anything done if you ask the manager, Esmeralda, for assistance. She rarely looks up when someone walks in the door and always has an excuse for everything. Rest of the staff is very friendly and helpful. Nancy and Patty are always very helpful and friendly.
would be better if they had hot water

jodiewickeron 13/09/2017 05:30We reserved our room shortly before we arrived. When we arrived we were told there was no hot water. We had no where else to go and the front desk shrugged her shoulders. When we got to the room, there was trash on the counter and someone had used the soap. I filled out the review card and mailed it in and received no response.
