Stayed a week here, plenty of restaurants, bars, supermarkets nearby,the beach is a five minute walk at most. Staff was friendly and helpful, breakfast was included and overall pleasant. Rooms are not fancy at all but functional.

First off, not all of the rooms here are equal, I get that. Our room was on the first level. The staff was friendly and helpful. The Continental Breakfast that was included in the price was a beautiful plate of tropical fruit, toast and coffee. The housekeepers do a good job of keeping things tidy and swept. Our room was ample but a bit disappointing. Moldy pillows and ceilings, dirty toilet, no lamp shades. The shower head shot water everywhere. I completed my first shower before the hot water kicked in. They do not have pool towels or wash cloths and they offer only 1 towel per day per guest. You can request additional towels and if they have extra they will give you more. We did not have a fridge, and our tv was a small older model, not a flat screen like one that was in the hotel photos. The remote did not turn the tv on or off, but it did change the channels. They could definitely step up their game a bit, even for the price we paid and represent the rooms better in their photos.

Spent 3 days at this hotel after spending 3 days near the volcano in La Fortuna. The hotel wasn't as nice as the previous place and the room was fairly small. However the rest of the facilities are really nice and is more upscale compared to similar hotels on the Coco Beach strip. Nice bar/restaurant area with a pool located in the middle. Servers were friendly although at points lacked personality. We're the type of couple that talks to everyone on our trips and get advice from locals on what's the best things to do. The one bartender Jose was AMAZING and extremely helpful throughout our stay there becoming more of a friend than a server.
We're not gamblers so we never saw the casino side of the hotel however I hear it's pretty nice and had live music on so.e night's although there were none during our stay.
Breakfast included was a continental which included toast and some fruits. Each day it was about $4 to upgrade to an America or Typical (Costa Rican) breakfast. Definitely recommend looking into a package that has that already included because the fruits and toast didn't cut it for us.
Overall, nice hotel. If you're in Coco Beach they definitely deserve to be in your considerations for a place to stay.

The Hotel is right along the main drag of Playa Del Coco. The Service is Great. The rooms were ok, If you are sensitive to Noise This isnt the place for you, We had some guy run up and down the main drag with a Motorcycle every night. You get a complimentary breakfast which was great, but found food to be somewhat pricey. I found Costa Rica Pricey. There is a little supermarket kitty corner to the hotel which we got water and snacks and booze from, there is a fridge in the rooms. Listening to the howler monkeys is quite something else, if you head down to the beach early in the mornings you can usually see family monkeys in the trees. I think if we were to go back down i would try and stay somewhere all inclusive. Overall this place wasnt horriable but wasnt the greatest. If you are going to do any tours i highly recommend doing the day to Nicaragua (: AWESOME AWESOME.. It is a full day, but worth it.

After being there I doubt there is a nicer place in this town. Keep in mind this is a one street 5 block town. The check in is fine. The room is fine, nothing nice or special. The TV works somewhat. Something they should tell americans when they go in the room that is you hit the SAP button on your remote you can change a bunch of Spanish speaking channels and turn them to English. It is backwards in the US, but that would help a lot of people. The shower is fine. It does take some time to heat up. The food in the restaurant is excellent. Gloria is a excellent waitress and should get credit for being really good. The location is next door. There is no one in there this time of year. Late at night you have a good chance of meeting a special somebody, but would not allow them to come onto the hotel property. Overall I did not see anything nicer that was a hotel. I would stay here again if I return. It is a good place. I would not say 5 star as there is no such hotel in this town (there are condos and such that are), but for decent price and real good location then go for it. Oh ya the wifi stinks in the room. They do not give me the code when you get your room. Gloria was nice enough to tell it to me, but it is really weak in the room. The safe did not work, but they fixed that within a hour of checking in. Minor and should have been faster as place was empty, but think front desk guy forgot about it when I first brought it up. Oh well it is still a nice place.
