Its a Beautiful property, snuggled adminst green canopy of coconut farms. Well maintained and managed by nice staff. We had Buffet lunch which was pretty decent , limited in items though, for the money it cost.
The not so pleasant experience was , the air-conditioning.The day was hot and the cooling in the restraunt was woefully inadequate . I was sweating a bit all thru. Only those who were settled (two Tables) in the centre were better off. I kept telling the waiters but they seemed quite helpless. Secondly, the Rotis and other type of bread were not served hot , but they were neatly stacked in rows in a Cassarole. So they were not the same in comparison to hot ones I ordered separately, which made my meal satisfying!

One best serene nicely constructed , limited rooms but very nice ! its smoke free property. they prefer organic food, rooms were good, good pool area. Rooms were good very less lights in rooms and easily located from cities like cbe or salem or near by kerala

We had recently been to coco lagoon its a nice property well maintained. Rooms were good very less lights in rooms and in entire property.... But overall amazing property value for the money we paid.
Food was excellent the hospitality was simply upto mark.. We had 3 toddlers with us along with 6 adults they took amazing care of us during our Stay.. Had read many negative reviews abt the restaurant but it's completly opposite. Worth the visit once.

What is supposed to be a luxury escape turned out to be an absolute nightmare filled with kids screaming & running about all day and night, while their parents are busy chatting at the top of their voices. My room should have had a king-sized bed but instead I was given a twin bed room. When I pointed this out, they simply joined the two beds together and said, 'Don't worry sir, here is your king-sized bed’. I was kept awake by noisy neighbours & the sound of dragging furniture till about 11.30pm, and then in morning received a call from another room at 9am when I was sleeping at last after a dreadful night. My 3 nights luxury escape has now been reduced to one night as I am checking out. The reception guy asked me the reason and I told him that I just can’t stay here with all the noise. He did not say anything, gave me my food bill and moved on to the next customer. I sat at the reception for an hour waiting for my car to pick me up and take me to Coimbatore Hotel where I have booked for the remaining 2 nights. Not even a single fly, let alone the resort manager if there is any, came to apologise or check with me. Although I had emailed in advance to the hotel requesting for a quiet room away from family & kids, as I was here to write and work on some photos, this request was ignored.
In my 4.5 years of luxury travel, I have never come across such an incompetent & unapologetic team.
A resort with zero sense of hospitality and a complete joke in claiming the name of luxury. Welcome to Coco Lagoon by Mount Resort in Pollachi.

We went with 2 kids.
Reception staffs were good in welcoming us and quite friendly to change our room due to the request on the basis of kids safety.
We went during diwali holidays. So it was quite crowded compared to our previous visit.
My kids had wonderful time in pool.
Evening, party games were organised and it was well done by the organiser of the event.
Buffet dinner was very costly compared to city 4/5 star hotels.
Night stay was pleasant.
Morning breakfast was good with typical southi-ndian food.
Things need to looking to for the GMR.
- Quite shocked to see kids play area was charged extra esp Kids jumping trampoline.
- Was shocked and quite weird to see ladies were in sarees, nighty dress in the swimming pool. Basic etiquette of any luxury or star resort never followed here.
- We couldnt figure out any safety swimming pool ring for the kids.
- For the breakfast, Guest were walking with their inners inside the conference hall for the buffet and it made us to feel uncomfortable. Again Basic etiquette of any luxury or star resort never followed here.
- I visited in 2014 and again visited this week. But Wifi woes remain the same. I am sure GMR never bothered to look into this issue.
Overall it made me to visit again. But kids enjoyed. Expectation level gone little down compare to my previous visit. Time to check your creditability
