Have been at the Coconut Court for 4 nights so far and am very pleased with my experience here. The staff is beyond nice and helpful, the rooms are clean and well maintained, and the owner came up and introduced herself to us this evening. If you are looking for a casual place to stay I would recommend Coconut Court without reservation.

Have been here just over a week into a 2 week stay and can't find any fault.
Paid a bit extra for superior ocean view (see photo) because the little time we spend in the room it's great to watch the sea.
Room cleaned daily to a good standard and has all facilities needed ie good sized fridge, microwave, toaster and kettle and a walk in shower.
For us priority is nice beach, plenty of sunloungers and lots of shade...this ticked all boxes.
However, best feature is the staff all have been friendly and professional and made the stay even better.
There is an on site shop and a little convenience store across the road.As you would expect with most stuff being imported its expensive and choice is limited but has all essentials.
We went room only and have had one evening meal in and one lunch at the beach bar which were good but with so many places around in a 10 min walk or a $2BBD bus ride on any of the buses you can easily get to St Lawrence Gap, Oistins or Bridge town.
It's well publicised about Friday night in Oistins it's buzzing, get there by 6 or its a struggle to get seated. Saturday night is much less busy and personally the entertainment was better.
Not much in the way of evening entertainment which doesn't bother me, Monday night is manager's rum punch cocktailĺ and there's a band and on a Sunday night there's a film on the beach.
Would definitely come back (hopefully next year!)

Sounds to me like you have caviar taste so pay the price and go elsewhere. Who goes to Barbados to sit in their room to eat or watch a movie? You have one of the nicest beaches in the island right in front of you, a boardwalk that will take you to several different restaurants. You need to get out more!!! We have stayed at Coconut at least a dozen times over the past 20 years and things aren’t always perfect, but we make the most of it and ALWAYS have the best time with many memories to cherish. We have stayed at hotels that offer room service, have a spa etc, but we keep coming back because it is real. So open up your wallet and go to the West Coast if Coconut Court did not suit your taste. This hotel is located at a very good location not too far away from the airport, restaurants and grocery stores. It is in the historic Garrison area with boardwalk along the beach. This hotel is a local family owned and is very well maintained. It has the access to the private beach which is small and contained great for families with little kids. The restaurant on site has great food and it was very convenient for us to have meals with kids. The Blue Room which is a pub style restaurant right across from the hotel is part of Coconut Court Hotel has great food with a lot bigger portion than the actual hotel restaurant. Our standard room was nice, clean, comfortable and spacious for the family of 4 were a bit outdated and has yet to be renovated. Standard room is a 3 star hotel room. All the other rooms have been renovated but was too small to accommodate 2 adults and 2 kids. We recommend renting a car if you like to drive around the island. The roads are narrow and has tons of potholes so beware! Highly suggest renting GPS there are lots of tiny roads and streets that could lead to other parts of the town. The road maps are not clearly marked.

We didn't like our original room location. We were moved within 48 hours, no problem at all. The staff throughout the hotel, from the reception, shop, restaurant, bar, gardeners and housekeeping were a pleasure to meet every day.
The food was superb quality.
I highly recommend this great hotel. We will definitely come back
