We tried this restaurant after reading reviews. It was very busy and there was only one waiter who was doing a great job serving everyone. I'm a vegetarian but it was no problem for the chef and I got an absolutely delicious homemade pasta. The meal was really good and I would thoroughly recommend trying it. The waiter also spoke perfect English.

Yes, it is indeed a "humble- historical" trattoria with street tables for guests. What makes Da Ciccio so special, then?
The taste of the food.
Home made, fresh pasta -the best I have ever tasted.
That kind of "best" that made all of us order all fresh pasta and share and pamper ourselves with homemade pasta... I mean visiting Italy is about pasta, isn't it!
Da Ciccio's pasta... out of this world good.
A must-do: great food, great service and great view!

Very nice restaurant with a terrasse with a view on the castle. We went there two nights in a row and were very well received both times. The owner speaks French very well and was able to guide us through the menu: both the fish and pasta are delicious - we highly recommend to taste the calamari and melanzane pasta! The price-quality ratio is pretty good too ( approx. 50€ for a bottle of wine, 2 entries & 2 pasta) and the wine from Ischia a lovely discovery. We definitely recommend the place, but advice to call in advance to make a reservation as the terrasse is often full by 8pm.
Great trattoria! Eat there!

Carlos is a great host, ate there twice during our weeks stay on Ischia. The seafood pasta and baked fish was fantastic. It is a fun and lively place, but they are serious about giving you good food. Best to reserve in advance in the season.

I really wanted to mention this place because they had the best fish soup. No bones. And the local wine served was good. I might go back, I have some Limoncello credit!
