What People are saying
Average Comfort Inn, but great staff

I was recently in Quincy for a college reunion, and was looking for a basic place to stay when I was in town. I'm familiar with Comfort Inns, and the price was good, so I figured the Quincy Comfort Inn would work. The hotel is pretty far out Broadway, but nothing in Quincy is really that far away. And it can be kind of tricky to get in and out of. The hotel itself is slightly smaller than average for Comfort Inn, but with decent (and well lit) parking. There's an indoor pool and hot tub. And they offer the standard Choice Hotels breakfast. The rooms are clean and good, but then again, very average for the chain. Likewise, the beds, as I've come to expect, are very comfortable.
However, it is the staff that really pushes this place above average. Everyone, from the desk staff, to the breakfast attendant, and especially the housekeeper, was very friendly and gave great service. Sometimes, the breakfast bar at Comfort Inns can be kind of sad looking and not kept up. But here, everything was kept fresh and filled up throughout the entire time that breakfast was served. The housekeeper, Jody, checked with us to see if we needed anything. And one of the managers was very helpful when we brought a loose towel rack to his attention. All in all, it is this kind of service that puts the Quincy Comfort Inn above average.
horrible place to stay

My husband and i stayed here on June 19, we were on our way back from a trip to Texas on our Motorcycle and we had approx. 150 miles to go but we were just too tired. We had stayed in Comfort Suites most of the trip so we decided to give it a try. The 1st room she gave us was 321, we just opened the door and were hit with so much cigarette smoke it about knocked us over, there was no way i was staying in that room. I went down and complained and she gave us a new room 319 right next door. This one also smelled like cigarettes but not as bad, but had no tv remote, no extra toilet paper and very little on the roll and no wash clothes. I went down again and complained and she gave us a suite down the hall. This room was not too bad. Next morning we checked out, my husband said he did not want to eat there but i went in to fill our travel mug with coffee, right next to it was a bowl of the brownest Bananas i've ever seen., not just spotted i mean really brown. I can't believe a hotel was run this way. I would never recommend this place to anyone.
Enjoyable visit

We stayed a few nights while in town to visit family. For a bargain hotel, we found the rooms nice and comfortable. The bed was adequate, but I am very picky and most hotels are only adequate. The breakfast area was a little small but offered decent food. The only real negative was the pool was very cold on our second night. Not sure why. Was going to ask but didn't make it to the desk. As we will likely be back to Quincy, this will be one of our first picks of a place to stay again.
Great staff but rooms need updating

We were in town for my dad's funeral and we had just sold his townhouse so needed to stay at a hotel. We requested a lot of extras regarding time and the staff was very accommodating. Breakfast was good. Rooms were very outdated. There was a chair in the room that was so dirty I wouldn't even let my dog's sit in it. That made me wonder what the carpet was like. Like I stated, staff was great but rooms need thorough cleaning and updating.

Friendly reception with all staff at front desk, clean room and very comfortable bed. Warm cookies were available at the check in desk. While there took advantage of the pool and hot tube. I am generally very careful of where I park my vehicle at hotels, There parking lot was well lit and I had no concerns.
