Not up to Comfort Inn Standards
travelinsison 10/11/2017 20:53This hotel was a good price and relatively comfortable and clean. Poor sound proofing between the floors. The mattress was firm but comfortable but we did notice that the bathroom floor was sticky. The tub & sink drains in the room were very slow. The breakfast room floors were also sticky and it was too small for this hotel. Our room had an ugly dented steel door which failed to close properly on it's own (maybe that's why it was dented). We always had to double check that it had latched and most times it hadn't (anyone could have entered our room). The halls had dark paint and dark carpet - not inviting. It needs major updating.
Very pleasant place to stay
Robert Fon 10/11/2017 03:46The room was clean and odor free, had all the normal amenities (TV, AC, WIFI, microwave and refrigerator etc.) King size bed with comfortable mattress. The best part of the experience was the hostess in the breakfast room. I've stayed at a lot of different hotels over the years and she stands head and shoulders above the rest as the nicest and most attentive hostess I've come across. Always busy but not too busy to take a few minutes to get to know the guests. I'd stay again just to see her. At 70+ years, a wonderful person.
Terrific overnight stay

Let me use a coupon
JC0lon 18/10/2017 20:38There were three of us needing a bed for the night and the clerk put a roll-away bed in the room and still let us use the discount coupon for the price of the room. It was all we needed and the guy that used the 3rd bed said it was very comfortable. The room had all the necessaries, plus a coffee maker. The wifi and TV worked great and we would stay there again.
Pleasant place to spend the night
ken son 16/10/2017 03:06We have stayed at several different properties in Beckley over the years. This one is by far and away the best of the bunch. The property had been renovated in the not too distant past. The staff we encountered were without exception friendly and helpful. Alvonia in the breakfast area made everyone feel like family. The room was quiet, linens fresh and clean. You can't ask for much more than that. The wifi was adequate. We'll definitely stay here again if we need lodging in Beckley
