The hotel itself was pretty dated. Everything was just a little old, a little worn, and could definitely use some TLC and $$ invested in updates. There was a pool and hot tub, but as I said...the hot tub was pretty "rugged". The room was adequate, but had several little things that weren't great. The bath wouldn't hold water. The only outlets available to guests (that were not behind furniture and that had open outlets) were the standard ones in the base of the lamps...as you would see in many hotels. However, the outlets themselves were so worn out that you had to twist your cord in the outlet to get it to make a connection otherwise your phone, etc. would not charge. My co-worker in another said the same thing...only he did not notice his phone wasn't charging until the next day when it was too late. The staff was friendly. The handicap lift for the pool did not work, as I watched a disabled person working with the staff for over an half hour trying to get access to the pool. The breakfast was a hot breakfast, but was very "microwavish" and left much to be desired. Very thin walls, definitely could hear everything going on in the hall and in the rooms next door. HOWEVER, as I said in the title...this place was next to EVERYTHING. There were probably twenty good places to eat, a grocery store, a couple drug stores, banks, ice cream parlors, convenience stores, etc. All within walking distance. Not too bad for the price, but would probably look elsewhere were I to stay in the area again.

Stayed here on our first night to the US. Rooms are clean quiet and comfortable. Staff are helpful Microwave in room and there is a decent very small shopping complex within walking distance of hotel. Reasonable breakfast. Quite happy to return on future visits

We stayed here for two nights and were not disappointed. The room was large and comfortable, and the breakfast options were very good. Only knock I would give is that because we were on the first floor near the pool, our room had a faint chlorine smell that you could notice when you walked in (but it faded once you got used to it). Not enough of an issue to be a problem though.

We stayed here for six non-consecutive nights recently in two different 2nd floor rooms. Most all of the amenities were quite adequate but the beds were fantastic! There was also good soundproofing, making for great sleeping. We brought up and enjoyed breakfast in our room each day; choices were varied, but we sure would have liked some cut fruit selections as well. Room 203 has a delightful view and lots of privacy as it looks out and through a large Japanese type maple tree to the rear of the hotel. The window opens pretty wide to let fresh air in and the a/c works very well for those of us who desire a very cool room for sleeping! The staff was friendly and helpful, too. There were just a few things worth mentioning that could be problematic for some folks: 1. Those key cards should be given with instructions on how to jiggle them just right to get into your room (to avoid three trips back to the front desk to ask how it's done)
2. Those pesky outlet plugs for charging your electronic devices on the base of the lamps should be adjusted or replaced by a professional (hint hint: they are pretty useless as they are too loose to hold your charging cord).
3. The hotel room artwork decorator gets a D- (for thinking that hanging one small square nondescript picture above another, directly above a lamp constitutes beautifying the entire generously sized room).
4. I realize that if we want to retain our used towels to reuse more than once we should hang them up...and so we did, but the maid replaced them anyway-twice. (Even after seeing my handmade sign requesting her to please NOT do so)
However, these are minor details that won't keep one from enjoying a good night's sleep here for a fair price. In fact, this is a great place to stay in an expensive area and it's within walking distance of several stores and restaurants. We liked it very much and will be staying here again next time, too!

Standard Comfort Inn. You know what you’re getting and that’s a good thing. Room was comfortable and clean. Breakfast buffet is available but it was pretty crowded during my stay so I passed. Walking distance to two grocery stores with very good selections. Starbucks is also nearby. Great base for area sightseeing: wineries, botanical gardens, Seattle.
