Allyson Mon 27/09/2017 03:31The hotel was fine. It has a nice lobby, a good selevtion of breakfast items, the dining area was kept clean, staff was all friendly and helpful. There were stains on the carpets in the halls, but no big deal. The room was great minus the shower that didnt drain well and the somewhat noisy gurgling pipes at night. But I couldnt hear anyone else in the hotel my entire stay. People around us even had dogs and I only heard them as I walked by their rooms in the morning. I would definitely stay here again. Especially for the reasonable price.
Stay somewhere else
Theresa Lon 20/07/2017 15:28We decided to save a few dollars & stay at the Quality Inn as opposed to the Holiday Inn right next door but won't make that mistake again! We've stayed at both previously & didn't like the Quality Inn but figured for just a quick stop over we'd save a few dollars & give them a try again. First of all the doors into the lobby aren't automatic which is quite handy when pulling suitcases. There's no elevator so you get to carry said suitcases up a flight of stairs. Once we accomplished that feat we opened the door to a smelly, hot room whose air conditioner was set at 60 degrees but obviously wasn't working. I promptly went to the front desk & was given a first floor "suite" at no additional cost but downgraded from a king to queen bed. Their idea of a "suite" is the same small room but squeeze in a mammoth size jacuzzi tub beside the bed!? The mini bathroom also has a tub/shower so not sure why the jacuzzi. We did have air conditioning but room was still really humid. The place could use some major updating but in the meantime stay somewhere else.

pabrandonon 25/06/2017 05:06Didn't care for souix falls so we backtracked to brandon and got the last room here. Had no trouble with cleanliness or things not working. Staff was pleasant and plenty to shop and eat nearby. Maybe things have changed since past reviews? We've been to many hotel/motels and would stay here again. Maybe we got lucky?
Needs an upgrade
Chloe130on 15/06/2017 13:16We stayed there one night. Our room was clean - except the carpets were stained and filthy and some of the white towels were more brown than white. There was a funky smell in hallways, and the beds felt like they were from the 1980s. Both the tub and sink drains were slow. This place is not up to the usual standard of this brand. Find another place to stay.
Very satisfactory
D Pon 29/04/2017 23:37This is a nice stop between Minneapolis and western South Dakota. Easy on and off the interstate with a restaurant and gas station next door. The room was clean, and the beds were comfortable. The breakfast was typical for Choice Hotels and was well executed. The eggs actually tasted like eggs, and the coffee had real flavor. The attendant was very attentive to keeping everything well stocked and clean.
