My stay was for business, and I left the hotel by 0620 each morning, the continental breakfast did not start till 0700, and the place was full of workers, not very astute with their clients. I had a coffee machine in my room so I made my own, 4 days in a row without the coffee replaced, and the coffee machine was not cleaned, I eventually just did it myself, and went to the front desk each evening to get more coffee.
If in Brandon for work again, I will explore other accommodations

Stayed one night in Brandon at the Comfort Inn. The staff were excellent - great customer experience. Enjoyed the coffee and breakfast in the morning. Room including the bathroom were clean. This location is close to a Boston Pizza - walking distance so that was an added plus. Easy access to the main road into the city of Brandon.

our room was very clean and comfortable. I thought we would hear highway noise but not at all! Best part was the very friendly staff at the front desk.
Also enjoyed the hot items at the breakfast...more than many other places. The food was fine, but I wish the breakfast was served earlier than 7am. We are often ready to drive closer to 6am or even 630am. By the time you get breakfast at 700 and leave that is late.

A pretty clean and comfortable hotel. The rooms look tidy and generally would be pretty good for most purposes. Everything was fully functional in the room except for the desk. Although the right height, the surface of the desk renders any laser mouse useless. If you're planning to get some work done while at this hotel, I recommend bringing a mouse pad with you.
The bed was comfortable. The shower was average: nothing particulary special, with average water pressure. The only major complaint we have would be the noise level. The hotel may have had a hockey team or something visiting, and as a result we could hear other guests talking throughout the night. Motorcycles drive by regularly throughout the night as well, which send a good roar into the room. If you avoid weekends, that should avoid most of the team-visits, which would likely improve the quality of stay at this hotel.

Location good for travelling on Hwy 1. For us, no elevator issue is trivial, but may be significant for others. Room clean; everything worked -lamps and A/C and plugs; quiet location at end of the hall; good comfortable bed. Shower fine; lots of towels; extra blankets if needed. Standard Comfort Inn experience. Front desk got me real cream for in-room coffee.
Breakfast unexceptional - a bit noisy environment but the food items seemed fresh. There was regular and decaff coffee.
